750 bottle. Light brown pour and big head. Brown sugar all the way. Wow. Sweet and sticky. At this ABV I’d almost say barley wine over quad. Tasty.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
0.33 l bottle, thanks hanniku! Thick sweet aromas of raisins, toffee, toasted nuts and cocoa. Thick sweet flavors of toffee, caramel, raisins, nuts, cocoa, fruity wine gums and some bitterness for a balance. Full heavy body. Condensed raisiny malt taste dominates, not much belgian spiciness. Not bad. Very sweet and very much a small sipper dessert.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2015 Flaska på örebro ölcafe. Grumlig brun vätska med beige skum. Knäckig blöt och fatig doft. Smaken är härligt sockersöt med kraftigt rund fatkaraktär och knäck. Mycket trevlig

Bottle at home from brewdog online
Pours opaque mid amber brown with fluffy tan head. Rich citrus peel and toffee apples on nose, full bodied, sweet but not cloyingly so as balanced by fruity citrus hops and good level of carbonation. A bit heeavy in the mouth but perhaps lacking the expected yeast character, all in alll a good sipper though.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottled, BB date stuck beneath a sticker on the cap, but it was bought somewhere sept 2013, large sample. Clear copper color, medium off-white head. Aroma of loads of biscuity malt, caramel, raisin, but also some fruity notes like orange and grapefruit. Hint of fusel alcohol, not that much spicy notes. Quite sweet in taste, slight bitter, some alcohol. Sirupy. Like a fusion between an american barley wine and a belgian quadrupel. Lots of sugary sweetness, but a great sipper.

750 ml bottle poured a cloudy reddish amber with a lasting creamy amber head. Aromas of toffee, prunes, raisin, honey, caramel, yeast and spice. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of toffee, honey, earthiness, fruitiness, light spice and a hint of yeast with a smooth lingering toffee finish.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap a few months back. Pours with a hazy amber hued body with an off-white head that fades. Aromas are hugely raisiny, congac, vinous, honey and a boat load of alcohol. Flavors are sweet, bitter, raisiny, lots of alcohol, a bit flabby (unbalanced might be another word), honey. Very sweet and very viscous.
