Bouteille 33cl, BB 22/10/2018.

12oz pour at BierCab in Barcelona. Pours a hazy ruby amber with some lacing, sudsy white head. Nose is interesting, maple sap, wood pulp, sugary, raisin, tamarind. Flavor is more balanced, tamarind, maple, some red grape, some saw dust, malt, a little bread, some candy, a little dried apple. Sweet finish. Very interesting.

Bottle 33 cl from Bier-Bienne (CH). Orangy red with an average pale ochre foam. Fruity nose with sourness, prune, rhubarb and woody. The taste is round, complex with always fruit stewed and woody, caramel, spices and sourness from lactob. Notes of fig, rye, Malaga, balsamic vinegar and bitterness. Interesting and unconventional, but with hard way.

330mL bottle, pours a hazy amber orange with a medium beige head. Nose is somewhat spicy, with Belgian yeast, vegetal and herbal notes, and some light fruitiness. Flavour is well-balanced, with vegetal notes, light fruitiness, dry caramel, and toasted bread. Very nice mild dubbel. Very drinkable.

330ml bottle. Pours a hazy chestnut amber, with a medium off-white head. Red wine vinegar is the predominant aroma, with some plum and oak notes in there as well. Medium bodied beer with a nice carbonation. Spicy hops and a slight wild yeast flavour up front lead into sweet red wine and more wild yeast in the mid-palate. A strong rye bread flavour comes through in the finish, with a lingering aftertaste of red wine vinegar. Similar to the funky e* imo, nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
