330ml bottle. Pours a hazy chestnut amber, with a medium off-white head. Red wine vinegar is the predominant aroma, with some plum and oak notes in there as well. Medium bodied beer with a nice carbonation. Spicy hops and a slight wild yeast flavour up front lead into sweet red wine and more wild yeast in the mid-palate. A strong rye bread flavour comes through in the finish, with a lingering aftertaste of red wine vinegar. Similar to the funky e* imo, nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours clear copper, thin off-white head. Aromas are brett funk, wood, peach and toffee. Taste has more vinous qualities, alongside all previously mentioned. Good.

Vibrant auburn, soft ringed head. Bright cheesy apricot, pine, grapefruit witha dusty brett funk - without the brett?. Rumbling carbonation aided by a floating pine finish. Vinious enough without being OTT. Caramel sweet, apricot and peach sponge. Decent enough but not full force.

Very soft and drinkable for 8ABV. Acidic, sour aroma, some plums and oak too, caramel. Taste is quite similar, but not sour, only a little bit. great mix of flavours, a little bit warming, red wine, oak, dry fruits notes. Good!

330ml bottle. Pours a hazy chestnut amber, with a medium off-white head, which lasts very well and leaves good lacing. Red wine vinegar is the predominant aroma, with some plum and oak notes in there as well. Spicy hops and a slight wild yeast flavour up front lead into sweet red wine and more wild yeast in the mid-palate. A strong rye bread flavour comes through in the finish, with a lingering aftertaste of red wine vinegar. In a lot of ways this reminds me of BrewCult Acid Freaks, which is brewed with balsamic vinegar; it’s an odd beer, but on the whole it works fairly well.
