Bottle. Hazy amber with a beige head. Spicy vinous aroma with nuts, sour oranges. Texture like watered down kefir, lowish carbonation. Sweet, sour, spicy, with overripe stone fruit, their stones, sour oranges, caramel, some bread. Modest bitterness but spicy and a bit tangy at the end. Lots of interesting things going on, but all a bit of a jumble really. Perhaps it will come together later. Didnt like the slickness in something this full-bodied.

Weird beer this (but it works). Peppery Belgian ale is the initial impression before a wave of sour funk comes crashing through. Aniseed, bitter, tang, almost Flemish save for the pepper. Really does work although it never quite hangs together.

Hazy copper pour with a foamy dirty white head. Aroma of grapefruit, caramel, almonds, marzipan and citrus. Taste is pretty sweet and low in bitterness.

Pours murky copper. White thin head with nice white lacing. Aroma is Strawberry bubblegum sweetness, bit of bread notes. Flavour is Strawberry, floral, citrus notes, biscuit. Light carbonation. Oily texture, really slick mouthful. Body is medium but alcohol is excellently integrated. Nice.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy nutty brown with a smallish, off-white head. Lovely Bretty and woody aroma with some brown sugar blending in. Medium body, an initial sweetness, overripe fruit, caramel and subtle wood. Again slightly funky. A very subtle and elegantly barrel-aged beer. 250214

Crazy sorachi ace coconut aroma - oily and perfumey. I hate sorachi ace and coconut in beer. Dark coppery orange, small tight head. Some nice apricot from the brett, some nice white pepper too. This is very messed up, its too slimy and slick in the palate. But hedonistically, this has some positives. Full and sweet, but doesnt quite cover the alcohol.

Glass@Pudel @ T Ol event. Yeast and molasses aroma. Pours clear caramel color with nice creamy head and lacing. Sour cherry, sherry and port mixture. Oak barrel comes to my mind for some reason. Malts and everything else is very well selected. Medium-full bodied brew. Pleasant and complex.
