The great warrior of Gath. The mighty champion of the Philistines. Embedded in ancient folklore and religion. Coming from the World of Old. His size and stature is not human. He is bigger. The armor of Goliat is black. Creamy black lacings. Stands with a towering height. He can grab elements from both earth and heaven. Earthy, roasted, notes from the earth. Warming, pungent, sweet notes from the skies. His heart is beating slowly, almost endlessly slow. This man is thought to be invincible!

Ingredients: Water, barley malt, roasted barley, dark cassonade sugar, flaked oats, hops, gourmet coffee and yeast.

Bottle. Pours an oily jet black with a high, creamy, tan head -- the head almost gushed over the top of a Duvel tulip. Lots of sticky lace is left behind as it recedes, unwillingly. Nose is coffee, roasted walnuts, brown sugar, browned pastry, and baking chocolate. Not as sweet as I expected on the tongue; there’s chocolate and coffee, yes, but also a strong, earthy element, running into the mushroom, pine, and savory spectrum. Mouthfeel is creamy and rich, and the finish is long, smoky, and bitter. Very well done.

Niesamowity RIS.

Black pour with a thickish brown head.Roasty, burnt brown sugar, coffee, cocoa. Sweet up front, then a beefy, roasty kick, cocoa, raisin, coffee. Finishes dry, slight coffee bitterness. Awesome.

"Had this right after a Kopi Luwak stout, and the comparison ended up being "cheaper coffee (in this one) but better beer." Huge nose and flavor of raisinettes and coffee. Did I mention the coffee. Dark roast. Nicely, if a touch overly, done. This is defiinitely a big aggressive beer. Not a lot of subtlety, but done well. A must for coffee &/or stout lovers."

Draught @ Basement Beer Bar. Aroma smells of freshly brewed coffee. The tast is sweet dry stout with a tart coffee finish. Fairly creamy, possibly due to the flaked oats. A nice, clean, minimal imperial coffee stout.
