COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The great warrior of Gath. The mighty champion of the Philistines. Embedded in ancient folklore and religion. Coming from the World of Old. His size and stature is not human. He is bigger. The armor of Goliat is black. Creamy black lacings. Stands with a towering height. He can grab elements from both earth and heaven. Earthy, roasted, notes from the earth. Warming, pungent, sweet notes from the skies. His heart is beating slowly, almost endlessly slow. This man is thought to be invincible!

Ingredients: Water, barley malt, roasted barley, dark cassonade sugar, flaked oats, hops, gourmet coffee and yeast.

Turboninja (35) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 24, 2013
Strong aroma correlates well with the taste. Black appearance with bigh, dark brown head. Medium taste spectrum with original flavors of malts and coffee beans, but too roasted. Also there is some tangy flavor, that jumps up on the first bite, maybe something to do with that roasted flavor. Alcohol is masked properly and carbonation is OK. Adequate palate.

Pours a deep black with a dark brown head. Massive roasty coffee aromas. Taste is similar .. This is the most coffee intense beer I’ve ever had. Anal sex in a glass... This beer is damn impressive.

Skinnyviking (5944) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 18, 2013
Bottle. High creamy long lasting brown head. Pitch black body. Powerful roasted malt coffee cocoa aroma with a good deal of alcohol as well. Strong roasted malt coffee cocoa flavor heavily dominated by alcohol. Nice bitterness. High carbonation. Long bitter finish. Guess a couple of years of starge would be advantageous. Too much of everything.

StoutHead (229) - DENMARK - FEB 18, 2013
375ml. bottle. Pitch black with a large dark brown persistent head. Aroma is of coffee. Tastes like hard roasted coffee, malts and sugar. Smooth and sweet with a long aftertaste. Full bodied. Alcohol isn’t masked very well, but it doesn’t matter - it warms and it’s delicious.

Scopey (3229) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 12, 2013
Bottle, thanks to BenH. It pours near black with a thick tan head. The nose is rich coffee, soft roasted malt, chocolate, earth, toasted coconut, vanilla, light soy sauce and toffee. The taste is roasted malt, coffee, coconut, toffee, mild acidity, fudge, earth, light alcohol warmth and spice with a dry, toasty finish. Medium-full body and moderate carbonation. Smooth, flavoursome and well integrated. Nice, well-rounded beer.

Black in color with a tan head. Roast, brown sugar, mild booze, and tons of molasses. Nice licorice, coffee, and dark chocolate. Sort of a sweet mocha note. The flavor has a nice sweetness, but also good roasted malt, coffee, and bitter dark chocolate. Molasses, brown sugar, a hint of dark fruits, and a light booziness.
