The great warrior of Gath. The mighty champion of the Philistines. Embedded in ancient folklore and religion. Coming from the World of Old. His size and stature is not human. He is bigger. The armor of Goliat is black. Creamy black lacings. Stands with a towering height. He can grab elements from both earth and heaven. Earthy, roasted, notes from the earth. Warming, pungent, sweet notes from the skies. His heart is beating slowly, almost endlessly slow. This man is thought to be invincible!

Ingredients: Water, barley malt, roasted barley, dark cassonade sugar, flaked oats, hops, gourmet coffee and yeast.

Aroma- not nice, perfume hops, no coffee, sweet chemical smell. Looks great, thats where it ends. Taste follows smell, no coffee, far too hoppy for a stout, nasty cloying sweetness, no alcohol evident. great mouthfeel doesnt make up for the taste. not a nice stout

Aroma is sugar and coffee. Black beer with a weak head. Taste is heavy cloying sweetness, lightly bitter. Palate is full body, sticky, soft carbonation, long finish with a bit of alcohol burn and a long cloying sweetness. The flavour combinations in this are just right for me.

Dark black. Distinct smell. Sweet coffee. Thick. Lots of tan lacing. I havent tasted anything like this. Creamy. Toffee. Tastes like candy made out of coffee. Id buy that candy if it existed.

375ml bottle from Brewdog Online Shop. Pours jet black with a thick tan head. Strong coffee and dark malt aromas. Taste is more strong coffee, sweet dark chocolate. Long roasted bitter finish. Easy drinking for the strength.

375 mL bottle shared with ebone1988. The pour is a lighter black color with a large off khaki head and a decent bit of soapy lace. The aroma is bitter up front. There is a lot of earthy hops and a lingering roasty bitterness. The chocolate falls off and this thing is just bitter. The flavor is really complex. There are three different, distinct levels of bitter. The roasted malt is first, backed up by the coffee, and then wrapped up with the chocolate. There is a light sweet mocha that's detectable before the bitter chocolate takes over. The mouth feel is excellent. There is a thick viscosity and a wonderful creamy carbonation. The aftertaste is lingeringly bitter chocolate and light coffee. Really complex and well done. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
