COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The great warrior of Gath. The mighty champion of the Philistines. Embedded in ancient folklore and religion. Coming from the World of Old. His size and stature is not human. He is bigger. The armor of Goliat is black. Creamy black lacings. Stands with a towering height. He can grab elements from both earth and heaven. Earthy, roasted, notes from the earth. Warming, pungent, sweet notes from the skies. His heart is beating slowly, almost endlessly slow. This man is thought to be invincible!

Ingredients: Water, barley malt, roasted barley, dark cassonade sugar, flaked oats, hops, gourmet coffee and yeast.

Extremmelly special beer. In the same level and taste with mocha porter from rogue. But I would prefer this one a bit more. Rich coffe and a sweet tastr of bitter chocolate.

Draft at The Rover in Gothenburg. Very dark, creamy off white head. Heavy coffee and dark chocolate. Very rich, heavy beer. Creamy dark bitter chocolate. Good bitter to counter alcohol and sweetness. Terrific beer.

A kedvenc sörfajtám (imperial stout) egyik tagja, ajánlották figyelmembe. nem rossz ital, de nálam korábban már nagyon magasra csúszott a mérce, amit ez nem próbált meg leverni. :-)

375ml bottle pours dark oily brown black with 2 finger tan head. Nose is coffee, mocha, cream, dark fruits, toast, roasty. Taste is rich creamy coffee beans, chocolate, some subtle dark fruit, a touch of oxidation in this bottle, cocoa, vanilla. Finish is bitter earthy coffee, dark chocolate, toasty malt, cocoa. Enjoyable.

375 ml bottle from Les Vignerons. Pitch black, absolutely no light passing through, with a big, fluffy, forever lasting light beige head. Pretty intense and strong aroma, plenty of roasted malts notes, bitter dark chocolate (the 80%+ type), some molasses, vanilla, freshly toasted coffee beans. Surprisingly, not much alchool in the nose, very subtle. Wow, in the mouth it’s exactly the opposite. Harsh booze burn as soon as te first sip, strong bitterness upfront, just before a sitcky, brown sugary sweetness. Roasted, almost ashy, lingering coffee and chocolate taste. It’s moderately dry, and it works quite well, making it more drinkable, while reamining a sipper, obviously. Soft carbonation, almost full body, oily texture. It’s a big, bold, "in your face" RIS, thats for sure. Pretty good overall.
