COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The great warrior of Gath. The mighty champion of the Philistines. Embedded in ancient folklore and religion. Coming from the World of Old. His size and stature is not human. He is bigger. The armor of Goliat is black. Creamy black lacings. Stands with a towering height. He can grab elements from both earth and heaven. Earthy, roasted, notes from the earth. Warming, pungent, sweet notes from the skies. His heart is beating slowly, almost endlessly slow. This man is thought to be invincible!

Ingredients: Water, barley malt, roasted barley, dark cassonade sugar, flaked oats, hops, gourmet coffee and yeast.

Bottle. Jet black with a 2 finger mocha colored head. Aroma is chocolate, molasses, roasted malt and a hint of vanilla. Not picking up any coffee there. Coffee comes to the forefront in the taste, supported by chocolate, roasted malt and a solid alcoholic burn. Rich, oily, chewy palate. This is awesome.

draught@Erzbierschof - black beer under a solid dark beige foam; fairly roasted aroma of coffee and black chocolate; a solid sweetness, rounded, light sticky and with a robust malt backbone, some bitterness, very long chocolatey finish with notes of vanilla; thick and with lot of character

Pitch black color, small tan head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, roasted malt and wood. Taste is just too great. Wonderful coffee, even more cocoa, a liquid 99% of cocoa chocolate. Extremely long and extremely cocoa bitter finish, just delightful. Full body, soft carbonation, creamy texture. I’m in love!

Bottle. Aroma is sweet and dry black malt with some coffee roast. Appearance is black with a tan head. Taste is coffee off the bat that leads into sweetness with hint of dark roast that takes over after the sweetness is gone. The roast flavor is not overpowering like most stouts. Very well done beer. Palate is dark with an almost creamy mouthfeel. Overall, this is the best coffee stout I can ever remember trying. Buy it if you see it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

King_Alex_II (468) - SWITZERLAND - MAY 24, 2015
Pitch black color with milk coffee colored foam. The smell is dominated by more coffee and a little chocolate afterwards. The taste is super smooth, foamy carbonated, has coffee, chocolate and caramel and basically keep screaming "I’m the imperial stout benchmark". Dry and satisfying aftertaste that rounds up the beer. I don’t like coffee, but this is a pretty great beer, even though I had coffee heavy stouts that I liked more.

Pours a black beer with a big beige head. Smells of coffee, chocolate, black malts. Tastes malt bitter, lactose, with a sweet hint from the cassonade sugar. Mouthfeel is big, alcoholic. Aftertaste is malty bitter and finishes with a sweet touch. Great beer for big stout lovers!
