COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The great warrior of Gath. The mighty champion of the Philistines. Embedded in ancient folklore and religion. Coming from the World of Old. His size and stature is not human. He is bigger. The armor of Goliat is black. Creamy black lacings. Stands with a towering height. He can grab elements from both earth and heaven. Earthy, roasted, notes from the earth. Warming, pungent, sweet notes from the skies. His heart is beating slowly, almost endlessly slow. This man is thought to be invincible!

Ingredients: Water, barley malt, roasted barley, dark cassonade sugar, flaked oats, hops, gourmet coffee and yeast.

Tap @ CBC. Black pour with a nice light brown head. Aroma is full of coffee, like fresh grounded beans, fruity like coffee berries, lots of citrusy hops. Some nice maltiness with chocolate, figs, tar. A hint of earthines and a nice sweet vanilla component. Taste is thick and sweet at first with s lot of chocolate, caramel and dark berries. Then a good shot of fruity coffee af loads os bitterness, both from the coffee and from the buckets of hops that went in here. Nice vanilla note in the back, ending in earthy coffee and bitter grapefruit. This us exactly as good as I was hoping it would be. Nice job Tobias and Tore!

Draft at CBC. Pours black with a beige head. Massive chocolate, roasted aroma with some chocolate and coffee. The coffee comes out more in the flavour along with the other aspects of the aroma and some vanilla. Medium bodied with soft carbonation and an oily mouthfeel. Great beer!

Bottle. Pours a solid black with a thick creamy dark tan head. Aroma of potent coffee, roasted malts, some toffee notes. Flavour is incredibly roasted, lots of coffee again, booze, dark fruit sweetness, wood, earthy. Medium to full bodied. A little too roast-heavy for my preference, but still a very enjoyable brewski.

Aroma is straight coffee leading me to believe this was going to be a watered down coffee stout, but it blew my mind on the palate. The flavor brought a ton of complex tastes and aromas. I get some vanilla, dark chocolate, coffee, burnt malts, roasted malts, and some sweet malts. Pretty damn impressive.

12.7 oz bottle. Dark brown with a crema head. Nose is coffee, chocolate liqueur, dark rum and smoky raisin. Medium to full body, creamy with a tang, almost like drinking melted chocolate. Taste is equally rich and decadent with fudge, Irish coffee, tart blackberries and citrus pith. Hits on all cylinders.

12.7oz green glass bottle pours very dark with a thin mocha colored head of foam. The aroma offers up big roasted coffee beans with a mild degree of dark roasted malts and malt sweetness in the background. The taste is rich with roasty coffee notes as well as lesser amounts of sweet malts, dark roasted malts, a dash of burnt malts and hints of spicy black licorice. Into the finish it just gets all sweet and nectar like and demanding another sip. Great stuff with plenty of depth, richness, smoothness and yum to keep me happy.

Bottle shared at CBC - Clerkenwell, London. Cheers to Ben for sharing this beast! Pours thick black with a big, beige foam head. Huge coffee nose. Big sweet flavor with dark fruits, rich espresso, light alcohol burn. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, somewhat oily, with lots of dark chocolate, moderate bittersweet cocoa, coffee beans, earth, dirt. Rich yet still quite nicely balanced. Great stuff.
