COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The great warrior of Gath. The mighty champion of the Philistines. Embedded in ancient folklore and religion. Coming from the World of Old. His size and stature is not human. He is bigger. The armor of Goliat is black. Creamy black lacings. Stands with a towering height. He can grab elements from both earth and heaven. Earthy, roasted, notes from the earth. Warming, pungent, sweet notes from the skies. His heart is beating slowly, almost endlessly slow. This man is thought to be invincible!

Ingredients: Water, barley malt, roasted barley, dark cassonade sugar, flaked oats, hops, gourmet coffee and yeast.

almost black colour, moderate, and quickly disappearing creamy brown head;aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, liqueurique notes and intensive fruityness;taste is surprisinlgly less complex: mostly heavy roasted coffee and some alcohol;anyway, correct imperial stout

Bottle 37.5 cl.
Black, with a dark tan, creamy head. Distinct malt, caramel, coffee and chocolate. Thick and creamy in the mouth. With a long, really long, malty chocolate taste.
After a good dinner, you can have coffee, cognac and a nice cake. Or a glass of Goliat.
This is a beer I have to taste again, just to elaborate on the description. Truly a fascinating beverage.

Or with three bottles of this, you could do all three acts.

Wonderful roast of coffee and chocolate alongside some dark fruits. Perfectly balanced in sweetness, bitterness and carbonation. The smidt sensation of smokiness and roasted chocolate keeps tingling your nose long after you've emptied your glass. - with thirst, Niklas

Bottle 375 ml at home, poured into a snifter. ABV 10.1% Totally balck beer, with a tall dark brown hed, thick, with good retention, leaving medium kacing around the glass. Great aroma, lots of chocolate, coffee and mocha, as a fan of all things chocolate I find this very much to my liking. Great taste too, again plenty of chocolate and class A coffee, light vanilla, mocha, light alcohol, a bit of roasted malts on the finish and on the aftertaste. Medium thick body, god amount of carbonation. Wow, this was amazing, very tasty and drinkable, more please.

Bottle thanks to Brian! Pours opaque black with a medium creamy brown head that lasts a long time and laces well. Aroma is quite coffee forward, backed by rich roasted malts and dark chocolate. Flavor is the same, rich mocha flavors, light plus sweet and strong bitter; perhaps too strong. Fair amount of acid from the coffee as well. Lingering bitterness to the far far finish. Fairly full body, fairly creamy. Why does it have to be so bitingly bitter? You know, sometimes you need to come to terms with a beer. What was blindingly bitter at first mellowed out after breathing (and or killing my tastebuds) and turned into something wholly enjoyable.

Aroma of coffee (duh), dark chocolate, dark fruits and roasted malts. Taste is sweet (brown sugarish, vanilla) with a bitter and long lasting ending (hops and coffee). An Imperial to cherish.
