Tap@tcbw15. Black. Roasty malty, molassey nose. Coffee, dark dry chocolate, sweetness. Med full bodied, oaky woody, some woody astringency/tannins in finish. Full flavoured, a bit more vinous, wood planky than the original. Quite good, but imho spoiled with the ba.

Draught @ TCBW 2015

Pours pitch black with a brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, licorice, bourbon, loads of coffee, dark chocolate and some berries. Taste is sweetish, salty and roasty with loads of licorice, coffee, some bourbon, vanilla, oak and toffee. Finish is sweet, sticky and syrupy with some oak, wood and roasty malts. A bit unbalanced.

Aroma has coffee, bourbon tones, vanilla and some salty licorice. Feels sweet. Flavour has rubbery tones, vanilla, sweet bourbon notes, coffee and licorice. Somewhat smooth and nice; the rubbery tones disturb me a bit though.

Black body with brown head. Aroma is coffee and bourbon. Taste is sweet at first and not super intense, with bourbon and chocolate, maybe vanilla, with coffee on the aftertaste. Full body with medium carbonation.

brnandersen (2260) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 27, 2015
375 ml. bottle poured in to a Snifter. Near black with a thin, tanned head. Roasted aroma with rich, dark malts, coffee, caramel, vanilla, bourbon barrel notes, salty liquorice, some alcohol dense notes. Taste is bitter/roasted. Full body with an oily texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and roasted with lingering bourbon barrel. Excellent Stout, a bit to boozy with more subtle bourbon barrel would lift this beer up to a 4.
