Bottle @ Apollon, Bergen. Hazy light nougat brown body, small off-white head. Nose is caramel, red berries, wood, port wine, grape peel, hints of toffee, alcohol and hay. Taste is bitter herbs, licorice, caramel, red berries, grape peel, alcohol, hints of wood and lime. Full body, medium carbonation. A bit strange, but fair enough.

Bottle. Pours hazy orange with almost no head. Aroma is very sweet with raspberry, toasted malt, booze and orange. Taste is heavy sweet, moderate bitter and tangy. Body is near full, texture is sticky, carbonation is soft. Finishes bitter with orange peel and tart raspberries.

Bottle. It’s an amber colored beer, unclear, and topped by a dense, light beige head. The aroma is dominated by oranges, with some raspberry hints, a faint boozy touch, some caramel and dried fruits and a little sugar touch. It’s pretty warming on the palate, but not in an intense way. Full body and soft carbonation level. Sweet, raspberry flavor with some oranges and sweetness. Lasting finish with lots of fruityness. Sort of nice, but a bit too weird I think. 140509

Bottle from brewdog online
hazy dark ruby with lacing tan head, slightly funky acidic, toffee. Full bodied, sweet, sticky, fruity raspberry, warming, long fruity finish. Gentle finish, fairly heavygoing a bit too sweet for my tastes, a good sipping dessert beer.

375 ml bottle @ Cardinal. Slightly unclear amber body with a small and fast disappearing head. Aroma feels very sweet with dry fruit and brown sugar. Flavor is sweet malty, dry fruit and red berries. Does not feel much bitterness or alcohol here. Fine, strong body with a long lasting aftertaste. A bit too sweet for me, still a very nice sipper.

maneliquor (2989) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - MAY 5, 2014
Bottle from Mane Liquor shared at Eagle Bay Brewery. Pours murky amber with a small beige head. Nose is very sweet berries, almost vinous with some woody notes and citric zest behind a boozy and tarty base. Taste is very ripe red berries, banana, citric rind and toffee. I don’t mind it at all but it probably doesn’t quite come together completely. A solid drop
