Fra flaske på sesongens siste M2, Cardinal juni-15: dyp kobberrrød med fint skum. Dufter og smaker av syrlige bær og frukter, nærmere bestemt rips, bringebær og appelsin. Røsker behagelig bakerst i ganen. Takk til Sigmund for at han hadde gjort plass til ønskerepriser!

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours cloudy reddish amber with very small white head. Aroma of red berries, citrus, pine needles, sulphur. Taste fruity-sweet with distinct raspberry and some alcohol; a little bitter finish.

Bottle. Hazy deep amber color with a thick foamy off-white head. Aroma of apple, berries and notes of orange. Very sweet taste with a bitter, fruity finish. Strong kick from alcohol. Medium to full body.

This is overwhelming. Strong alcohol and candy. Fruits are well present but the beer has a thick texture like syrup and it also tastes like one. I"m going to blend it with something lighter to balance the taste. Wow.

Tap @ Mikkeller and friends. Raspberries, some tartness, some booze. Hazy dark amber with off-white head, tiny head lasting. Little sour, more raspberry, vineous fruit, light sweetness, dry. Medium body, dry texture, average carbonation, dry finish.

PapaSkeetSkeet (1000) - Providence, Rhode Island, USA - APR 6, 2015
pinkish-brown, 3mm of caramel head, medium-coarse, medium-quick to fade. Aroma is tart candy berry, touch of toffee, some green sticky grass, touch of sappy deciduous tree. A bit odd. Body is medium-heavy, starchy, light carbonation, medium-light burn, a tad bit gritty. Flavor is sweet raspberry-strawberry candy, some caramel, a touch of clean bark bitterness in the finish that lingers lightly for a bit. A big enough beer to mask the booze for the most part. Interesting, a bit too thick/sweet to be refreshing, though.

Palatsilla 3/2015. Surprisingly fresh and quite "easy" to drink, interesting and tasty. Lots of fruits indeed.

375ml bottle at home. Hazy reddish amber brown with a small slightly off-white soapy head. Medium to full body with low carbonation. Very sweet with some bitter tones. Cherries, warming alcohol, raspbery, citrus and herbs. A tad too sweet but still tasty brew.

Tasting at Matt’s
Hazy red-amber color with generous head. Strange aroma, some berries, jam, cough syrup, dust. Sweet and caramelly, with the expected fruity acidity, and high alcohol perception.

375mL bottle, pours a opaque cloudy dark red with a small off-white head. Aroma is very fruity, with lots of raspberry juice and alcohol upfront, followed orange peel, and light caramel in back. Flavour is like an alcoholized fruit drink, with lots of raspberry and orange juice -- doesn’t really seem like a barley wine in any way other than the booze. This is pretty amateur to be honest. Nothing elegant or complex about this. Boozy, fruity and sweet. Not overly thrilling.
