Huge caramel, toffee is pierced by strong raspberry acidity and light orange peel presence. Kind of like a fruit cake in a glass in the best way possible. Amazingly creative and very well crafted. TO OL kills it again!

Palatsilla 3/2015. Surprisingly fresh and quite "easy" to drink, interesting and tasty. Lots of fruits indeed.

375ml bottle at home. Hazy reddish amber brown with a small slightly off-white soapy head. Medium to full body with low carbonation. Very sweet with some bitter tones. Cherries, warming alcohol, raspbery, citrus and herbs. A tad too sweet but still tasty brew.

Tasting at Matts
Hazy red-amber color with generous head. Strange aroma, some berries, jam, cough syrup, dust. Sweet and caramelly, with the expected fruity acidity, and high alcohol perception.

375mL bottle, pours a opaque cloudy dark red with a small off-white head. Aroma is very fruity, with lots of raspberry juice and alcohol upfront, followed orange peel, and light caramel in back. Flavour is like an alcoholized fruit drink, with lots of raspberry and orange juice -- doesnt really seem like a barley wine in any way other than the booze. This is pretty amateur to be honest. Nothing elegant or complex about this. Boozy, fruity and sweet. Not overly thrilling.

Pours red-brown and cloudy with a small off white head. Aroma is pungent yeast, molasses and malty grains. Taste is oily sweet syrup and heavy grains. The flavors and alcohol give me the impression of cherry liquor - must be the raspberry. Interesting.

On tap at Mikkeller and Friends, Copenhagen,16.1.15. Cheers Dorte and Desverger for the sample! Dark red, white head. raspberry jelly and some nutmeg in the nose, vinous, a little sour and boozy in the mouth. Thick, full-bodied, silky, long, liquor-like finish.

Tap@Mikkeller & Friends, Copenhagen - fuzzy amber coloured pour with white head. Aroma and taste is sweet malty with citrus mandarin notes, and prominent raspberry, sweet boozy towards the finish. Very different and interesting brew, nice.

Tap at Mikkeller Bangkok. Poured a hazy dark reddish amber with a thin white head and some broken lace. The aroma is rich sweet sticky orange citrus, boozy alcohol. The flavour is moderate to strong sweet with a big fruity, alcoholic bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

375 ml bottle shared. Appearance: Hazy orange amber color with a medium sized off white head. Aroma: caramel, orange peel, oranges, rapsberies and herbal tones. Taste: sweet marmelade, rapsberries and some caramale. Finish is a orange bittereness with some powerfull alcocohol. full body, supersoft carbonation. I shared my bottle and while I really liked the taste I thought that this beer would be better off in a 25cl bottle as a 37,5 cl bottle incase of drinking it all by yourself. ITs rich, its quite orange bittersweet and boozy that 37,5 cl bottles will probably be just too much of its own good. Still a good beer, but with the current size, I would suggest shearing it.
