Dark brown beer, small tan head. Nose is molasses, roast, slight vinous character, sweetness. Flavor is vinous and roasty with a healthy helping of sweetness and caramel. Finishes sweet and somewhat sticky. Pretty nice.

Black color with beige head. Coffee, vanilla and chocolate. But very sweet, even a bit fruity. Taste is heavily sweet, vanilla, a bit spicy, and chocolaty. A very very sweet Imperial Stout. Smooth feeling. Diabetes in 3,2,1....

Big and complex, hiding its alcohol amazingly well. Chocolate, coffee, dark fruits, lactose, licorice and char.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2015 Dark brown colour with nice beige head - good lacing. In aroma roasted malt, sweetness, alcohol like sherry. In taste roasted malt, sweetness with small bitterness and sherry note. Beer is very rich and you can feel the power of 15 vol. Well but very very long drinable.

0.375 l bottle, thanks hanniku! Black color. Thick sweet coffee and raisin aroma with rum, molasses, cigar and warming alcohol. Sweet and roasty flavor with coffee, charred bread, raisins, licorice and dark sugar. Full bodied with syrupy mouthfeel. Thick syrupy dessert, not bad.

Bottle. Ebony in hue and capped with one finger of cinnamon-colored froth. The aroma is intense, a mix of fruit and roast and booze. Bitter dark cacao and reduced chocolate sauce, a dash of burnt coffee beans, smoked tree bark, prune and a dash or teriyaki. The flavor is similarly packed, sweet dessert wine meeting chocolate bars meeting milk, with a subtle lingering roasty malt bitterness. The body is a sugar-laden medium, creamy and smooth. A big beer to be sure, but not so rich that I couldn’t polish off the bottle on my own.
