4.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
deep dark colour, huge dense brown creamy head, which lasts for several minutes; aroma of liqueur, coffee, dark chocolate and spicy notes; incredible taste of liqueur, chocolate, some coffee and syrupy sweetness first, which give the place to spicy chilli and roasted bitterness later on leaving back a long lasting bittery-spicy aftertaste; maybe some vanilla, woody notes and smokey notes can also be felt - incredible imperial stout! the best one I’ve ever tasted! even after minutes you can feel the warmth chilly notes! CONGRATULATIONS and thanks for this miracle!

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap @ Fermentoren Aarhus. Charcoal black with a sticky little brown head. Aroma has liquorice, figs, plums, molasses, earthy chili, coffee, milk chocolate and pepper. Taste has lots of fruity sweetness, figs and plums. Huge malt attack with an initial booziness, which levels out nicely over the sweetness and spicy chili stuff. Mild coffee-ish bitterness and a very sticky finish. Rich, energetic and spicy.

Tap at Slowbeer. Pours jet black with a small tan had that fades to lacing that lasts. Slight chilli aroma, dark fruits with a big malt aroma. Very oily texture. Has a creamy chocolate taste rounded out with a slight chilli hit. The abv is very well hidden. Some slight flavours of vanilla and expresso. An excellent brew

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: JUN 13, 2014 Pours black with an espresso brown head. Aroma of thick fat chocolate, lots of dark fruits, earthy coffee, nice roasted malts, molasses, dark brownie, weak spicy, vanilla and brown sugar. Taste is very sweet with some roasted malts, earthy coffee, spicy chili, salmiak, liquorice, chocolate, vanilla, dark fruits and tons of sugary sweetness. Some hotness from the chili/alcohol at the end. Berry nice. Reminds me of something in between mikkeller black and mikkeller black hole in the taste in some ways.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap@Fermentoren, Aarhus - black pour with a tan head. Mix of both sweet and roasted malt in the aroma and taste, chocolate, mocca, nutty, caramel, chilli is subtle and well judged. Overall this is very sweet that some may not like it, but it defiantly works for me. Lovely brew.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Pours jet black with a creamy beige head. The aroma is smoked and roasted malt with ashy and light cocoa notes. The flavor is sweet roasted with a great chili kick that is great balanced. Not too vague not too burning and overpowered. Chocolate and light cream. Thick texture. Awesome!

Tap @ fermentoren Aarhus. Pour pitch black with a small, dense, Brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted, slight smoke and a little leather. Taste is sweet at well, both in a sugarish way, and with lots of figs and dried plums. The smoke is low key, but adds some complexity. Smooth chocolate. Slight heat in the end. Very nice!
