Tap@Fermentoren, Aarhus - black pour with a tan head. Mix of both sweet and roasted malt in the aroma and taste, chocolate, mocca, nutty, caramel, chilli is subtle and well judged. Overall this is very sweet that some may not like it, but it defiantly works for me. Lovely brew.

Bottle. Pours jet black with a creamy beige head. The aroma is smoked and roasted malt with ashy and light cocoa notes. The flavor is sweet roasted with a great chili kick that is great balanced. Not too vague not too burning and overpowered. Chocolate and light cream. Thick texture. Awesome! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap @ fermentoren Aarhus. Pour pitch black with a small, dense, Brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted, slight smoke and a little leather. Taste is sweet at well, both in a sugarish way, and with lots of figs and dried plums. The smoke is low key, but adds some complexity. Smooth chocolate. Slight heat in the end. Very nice! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bottle from ølbutikken, served at about 8c. Pitch dark, smooth brown head. looks real nice. mild aroma, some chili notes, some faint roasted malts, and quite some hops, but all very subdued and quiet. also hard roasted malty notes, and a little bit of licorice or saltiness.flavor is sweet malty, sugar, very very sweeet flavor, and not really any hops to try to balance. the chilies add some spicy bite, but overall way too sweet.

[4/30/14] Draught at Mikkeller & Friends in Copenhagen. Black with a thick creamy brown head. Roasty aroma with chocolate, some coffee, a bit of cocoa notes, a dark fruits note and an alcoholic touch. Bittersweet roasty flavor with dark chocolate, some coffee and a mild boozy edge. Full-bodied. Great stuff.

Aroma: coffee, caramel, a bit of chocolate, and alcohol (alcohol aroma is stronger). Taste is excellent. Tastes very old and good. Malty chocolate and coffee combinated with chilli goes well for my tongue. Aftertaste is warm, but not too strong, so you can feel interesting warm feeling in your mouth. Very good beer, aroma could be more complicated, but I liked it very much anyway.
