Dark fat smooth imperial stout brewed with Chipotle, Ancho and Guajillo chillies, that adds a smokyness and a bit of acidic spicyness to the big impy stout.

Bottle. Light brown head, black otherwise. Soft roasted, slight smokey, milky nose with some green elements. Hit me first as eucalyptus, but now a bit more mellow. Full body, thick but not that oily, luckily. Intensive flavours. Some sweetness, roasted beef, leathery tones. And that green vibe again. Awesome beer. Can’t taste the abv, is dangerously easy to drink.

In short: Great IStout.
Pours black with nice tan head. Moderate head retention, good lacing. Roasty, coffee, chocolate, some burnt sugar aromas. Full bodied, soft carbonation, silky texture. Taste follows the nose, a bit spicy, alcohol noticed, smooth and extremely enjoyable. Good one, fulfills what it is expected from a beer a beer of this level.

From bottle into a snifter it pours near black in color with a tan head. Dark bitter chocolate, roasted malts, bit of ashes and hints of herbal notes in aroma. Notes of salty licorice, ripe dark fruits, old leather and coffee liqour in taste. There’s some warming notes from both the alcohol and chili towards the finish. Sweet chocolatecake and some heat is evident later on as well together with some lingering smokyness in the end. Good sipper though.

Poured from bottle, pours black with a thick brown head and lacing through the entire glass, aroma has a nice amount of peppers and spice on the nose with some chocolate and roast coming through too, the flavor has a heavy amount of chocolate at first with a good amount of pepper and sweetness in the finish, abv is pretty well hidden, mouthfeel was a little lighter and heavy on the carbonation, but still solid, heat builds in the finish, interesting stuff.

Black (>80EBC) with a brown light creams head. Some oily viscosity and good lacing. Aromas of vanilla, raisins, earthy-wood notes, sweet prunes and hints of wine aromas develop on the nose. The texture offers a very brief carbonation fading quickly into a heavy slickness with a full body. Earthy sweet juicy centre with influences of wood, resin, liquorice and some alcohol aromatic spice flavours develop. Rather complex beer with a somewhat spiced up long lasting bit roast finish. Harmonic and excellently balanced.
