Dark fat smooth imperial stout brewed with Chipotle, Ancho and Guajillo chillies, that adds a smokyness and a bit of acidic spicyness to the big impy stout.

Dark brown colour with beige head on top. Aroma has coffee, pepper and syrup sweetness. Taste is also quite sweet, syrup and some chili burn in the end. Espresso coffee and roasted malts are there too. Full body and low carbonation. I would’ve wanted a bit more of that chili punch that was advertised in the bottle. Nice anyway.

(To Øl Liquid Confidence) Bottle 375 ml at home, served into a snifter, ABV 12.2% Pitch black colour on the body, with a tall and very thick, dark brown head on top. Great retemtion. Aroma of chocolate. roasted malts, alcohol, light vanilla. Tastes great, lots of chocolate, fudge and vanilla, the peppers only subtly present and mostly as a faint burn on the back of the throat, alcohol, roasted malts, coal. Thick body, soft carbonation, sticky palate. Fantastic.

Bottle from my brother. Thanks a lot! Pours black with thick brown head. Aroma is hops, nuts, roasty, a hint of chocolate and smoke. Taste is very bitter and sweet with nuts, cocoa, hops, roasty, alcohol and slightly smokey. Long lingering hoppy and roasty aftertaste.

Big heat with the ABV and the chilies. Juicy pepper in the aroma. Pretty tasty. Rich cocoa tones, not unlike most Scandinavian stouts. The pepper adds some nice depth. Vegetal pepper tones last into the aftertaste. Quite a solid beer.

Bottle at home. Finally locked down the original base beer of this formidable range. I love chilli in imperial stout. It’s a flavour sensaysh. This is a Black beer with a Beige head. Much like the others. Aroma is big and bold. Roasted malt and smoky ash. Full bodied caramel and ash flavour with that familiar chilli warmth. I love this beer and I love its brothers and sisters. This one is probably my favourite although the Sherry cask version is a close second.

Deep dark-brown without head. Aroma: sweet and a little coffee. Taste: medium sweet, nice. So much paper in the finish. It’s quate balanced, but a too hot.

Tap at Salon Piva Bratislava. Beautifull black color with light chilli aroma and balanced sweetnees and chilli. Bitterness is low. Realy enjoyable.
