Bottle. Pours jet black with a creamy beige head. The aroma is smoked and roasted malt with ashy and light cocoa notes. The flavor is sweet roasted with a great chili kick that is great balanced. Not too vague not too burning and overpowered. Chocolate and light cream. Thick texture. Awesome! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Slowbeer. Pours jet black with a small tan had that fades to lacing that lasts. Slight chilli aroma, dark fruits with a big malt aroma. Very oily texture. Has a creamy chocolate taste rounded out with a slight chilli hit. The abv is very well hidden. Some slight flavours of vanilla and expresso. An excellent brew

Huge brew! Quite intense maltiness, feels moderate to heavy roasted, intense dark choco, cocoa with awesome touch of chilies, licorice, vanilla. Balance is perfect! Some wood and smoked notes. Pleasantly warming finish. Quite intense sweet with moderate bitterness. Smooth and very enjoyable.

"Well made imperial stout that I had a hard time believing was over 12%. Big rosted malt notes and bitter coffee and some chocolate, but the roast is king. Very smooth at any strength. Light bite from the chillies. If there is a fault, its that the peppers are not as pronounced as I hoped, but damn this was still a great beer."

375ml. bottle. Pours completely black with a one-finger light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, hints of chocolate and licorice. Taste of roasted malt, chocolate with licorice, chilies and smoke in the finish, and a hint of vanilla. All that considered I dont actually think its super complex - but I DO think its VERY good. Full bodied. The chili is very balanced and this is, overall, a very good imperial stout. Love it.

Bottle from drink shop, tallinn. Black color with nice large brown head. Aroma is licorice, coffee, smoky, some alcohol and something weird (chilis?). Thick mouthfeel, smoke, some alcohol at the end, roasty, licorice, coffee. Nicely different than many other imperial stouts

(Draught at Mikkeller & Friends, Copenhagen, 12 July 2013) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Roasted, malty nose with notes of black coffee, chocolate, liquorice and touch of smoke. Malty, roasted taste with espresso, dark chocolate, liquorice, asphalt and a generous coffee bitterness coming through in a finish with balanced hints of alcohol. A touch of chilli emerging after a while. Full body with a thick and oily mouthfeel, fairly sweet. Fairly well balanced for what it is. Very tasty. Excellent beer!

Bottle @ benzai. Pitch black colour with a medium to big dense, creamy, long lasting dark brown head. Instant 5 points. Smells roasted malts, chocolate, sweet, cocoa, some iron, some liquorice. Tastes roasted malts, cocoa, slightly bourbon, sweet, some coffee, some iron. Full body, oily texture, soft carbo. Too bad about the iron.
