On tap at The Roundhouse Taproom Hong Kong. Got a free sample of it and came back for more later. Really nice aroma with chocolate, berries, sherry, whiskey. Very sweet taste. Notes of cashew nuts in there also. Like it a lot.

Bottle shared with czar. Black pour with rich tan foam. Aroma is really good, light smoky chilies, roasty notes, bourbon, booze. Taste is sweet, much better integrated than the original though, light chili heat, dark chocolate, cocoa, light bourbon, vanilla, boozy finish. Palate is full bodied with light carbonation. Tasty stuff.

(Draught at Mikkeller and friends) jet black, medium tan bubbles with nice lacing. Nose of light smoke, umami, bitter dark chocolate, alcohol, spirit barrel, touch of graham cracker. Taste of sherry barrel, smoke, alcohol, dark chocolate, mildly bitter, medium carbonation and decently long palate finish.

Opaque dark brown beer, big pale tan head. Palate is crispy and semi dry. Lovely smooth dark malts with mild dark chocolate. Soft wood and subtle sherry. Mild chilli in the smooth finish which also brings milky coffee.

Pours a thick mosly opaque black with a bit of ruby highlight, a bigger than expected tan head and decent lacing. Aroma has some roasted malt and chocolate with a hint of soy sauce and papery oxidation. Taste has some sweetness and alcohol to begin with then mild bakers chocolate, roast and a hint of cherry. Has a good deal of wood character along with a bit of oxidation. Finishes dry with some alcohol warmth. Slick mouthfeel with a full body and light/moderate carbonation. Flavors are fairly rounded and even. Pretty straight forward.

Bottle. Pours black with a chocolate brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has chocolate, dark grains and strong roasted malts with just a hint of red wine underlying. Flavor has strong dark grains and roasted malts with a good amount of a red wine dryness in the finish.
