On tap at The Roundhouse Taproom Hong Kong. Got a free sample of it and came back for more later. Really nice aroma with chocolate, berries, sherry, whiskey. Very sweet taste. Notes of cashew nuts in there also. Like it a lot.

UPDATED: SEP 14, 2014 37.5 cl bottle. Pours deep black color with a tan and quite good lasting head. Aroma of roasted malts, dark chocolate, some fruits in a background and spicy & woody notes. Very creamy texture, low carbonation. Taste is roasty, dark chocolate, cocoa with subtle hints of peppers and some vanilla. One of my favourites beers so far.

On tap at Øltorget, Mathallen, may 28th 2014. Full black body with a small brown head - decent size for the strength. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted malt, wood and sherry. Taste of strong coffee, sweet licorice and sherry, alcohol, robust roasted finish. Chilies feels toned down. Not quite on par with the regular Liquid Confidence, which I’m a big fan of, but still a solid nice brew I’d be happy to have again and again.

On tap at Mikkeller and Friends, Copenhagen. Black pour with a tan head. Aromas of walnut, soy sauce, coffee and smoked meat. Full on vinous attack in the flavour- spicy fruit, strawberry, splash of dark fruit and dark chocolate. Full on throat warming, slow alcohol burning goodness. Exceedingly good!

37,5 cl bottle (12,2%) @ olio, BBE 03.10.2023
Aroma is sweet with oaky tones, sherry and some licorice. Flavour is rather sweet and oaky with sherry and some spicy tones. Too sweet and sticky, I liked the basic version better.

375 ml bottle. Pours a pitch black colour with a small beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, syrup, cream and herbs. Flavour of roasted malts, aggressive tart wooden notes, syrupy sweetness, herbs, some grass and some grains. Full bodied and thick mouthfeel. Aggressive dry, wooden, warming finish. Cognac version was better than this and better than the original.
