37.5 cl. 12.2%.

A. Moór, « The effect of light intensity on capsicum pollen quality — A megvilágítás erősségének hatása a paprikapollen minőségére » (Zöldségtermesztési Kutató Intézet Bulletinje, vol.

375 ml bottle, labeled as Liquid Confidential. Served in a Great Lakes Brewing chalice, the beer pours dark brown black with a couple inch frothy tan head that sticked around a long time. There’s also a good amount of lacing. The brew smells like roasted malt, bittersweet chocolate, coffee and chili peppers. It tastes like roasted malt, smoke, bittersweet and milk chocolate, chili peppers, molasses and some coffee. The chili pepper in this beer isn’t strong at all. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it’s slick and creamy with moderate carbonation. Pretty easy to drink for a beer that’s 12.3% ABV. Overall, I liked this brew. It’s nice and tasty, although I wish there was more of a chili pepper kick to it. $12.99 a bottle.

Thanks to the reverend. Always like to try these spicy imperial stouts. 375 ml. bottle poured in to a Snifter. Color is black with a tan head. Coffee, chocolate and caramel come out most in the aroma but the taste highlights the spiciness of the chilies. Was a big fan.

375 ml. bottle poured in to a Snifter. Pitch black with a thin, dense tanned head. Roasted aroma with chocolate, caramel, coffee, a smoked note, liquorice and herbal hops. A spiced note. Excellent, complex. Taste is bitter and roasted. Full body with an oily texture and a soft carbonation. Long lasting finish where the chillies shows as a pleasant burn alongside roasted malts, alcohol and a subtle smoked note. Excellent Imperial Stout.

Huge brew! Quite intense maltiness, feels moderate to heavy roasted, intense dark choco, cocoa with awesome touch of chilies, licorice, vanilla. Balance is perfect! Some wood and smoked notes. Pleasantly warming finish. Quite intense sweet with moderate bitterness. Smooth and very enjoyable.

Pours black with a dark than head. Nose shows coffee, cocoa, heavy bready malt, oatmeal and soft booze. Very aggressive, heavy-hitting flavours. Massive roast, ashy notes, slightly solventy booze and liquorice. The roast and booze threaten to overwhelm everything else though. Some very soft chilli heat. Nice creamy body.
