Countbeer (5309) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - JUL 5, 2015
Bottle: Shaker: Black beer. Brown head. Like it should be! Aromas of liquorice, oat, roast, sweet soy, sweet/liquorice wood roast, urine and some coffee... Flavour is a thick mix of liquorice, roast, (sweet) soy, bitters, oat, spice, bay leaf, wood roast, sweet/liquorice wood, hops, some herbs/grass, thick, dark and oily... Aftertaste is bitter, liquorice, herbal roast, herbs/grass, minerals and nutty... Low carbo, thick oily mouthfeel and full bodied. Long time no see, long time guarentee for a big bold imperial stout! Well done!

Benzai (9999) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JUN 10, 2015
Bottle @ home. Opaque pitch black color, medium sized dark brown head that lasts for a decent while and leaves fair to good lacing. Aroma is malts, a little sweet, liquorice, lightly chocolate. Taste malts, roasted malts, dark malts, a firm bitterness with a slight sweet hint, some chocolate, a hint of hops coming through, but roast and bitter mixed with chocolate and a hint of alcohol are the main flavors. Lingering roast and bitter finish. Medium to full body, medium carbonation. Heavy and full but a nice nightcap.

tricksta_p (1954) - Steenwijk, NETHERLANDS - MAY 29, 2015
Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, coffee, dried fruits, espresso, dark fruits. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a moderate bittersweet finish. Body is thick and full. Remarkably drinkable, this beer hides its high alcohol content well. Huge and thick but you can still drink it with zeal. Exemplary balance.

SlackerMads (2092) - DENMARK - MAY 29, 2015
Bottle. Pitch black with a medium sized dark brown head. Molasses, chocolate, light dark fruits in the nose. Smells nice, no booze. Soft and filling mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Rich malty flavour; chocolate, cocoa, light salty liquorice, wood, brown sugar, dark dried fruits, vanilla, some citrus notes on top of that. Alcohol is warming and not boozy. Full body, soft and sweet with appropriate bitterness. Roasted malty finish.

Gerbeer (2352) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 23, 2015
330 ml bottle. Pours black with short dark tan head. Rich aromas of vanilla, dark red berries, oily coffee, and dark chocolate. Flavors of rich dark chocolate, kahlua, dark berries, liquorice, and heavily roasted malts. Quite warm but in a nice chocolate liqueur way. Most excellent.
