On tap. Pours jet black with a creamy brown head. The aroma is deep roasted , sweet licorice, light coffee and bitter roasted malty. Flavor is very deep roasted with only light sweetness and notes of light coffee and chocolate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught at Mikkeller & Friends. Pitch black coloured with a small beige head. Sweet and roasted aroma of dried fruits, licorice and dark chocolate with notes of vanilla. Sweet and roasted flavour of caramel, licorice and dark chocolate with notes of hops and dried fruits. Roasted and hoppy finish.

On tap. Pours black with a small dark brown head. Aroma of malt and a hint of chocolate. Taste is of hard roasted malts, chocolate, a hint of liqourice and coffee. Aftertaste is of malt, chocolate and salt. Doesn't taste like almost 13% - but it does feel like it's strong. Full bodied. Has a "hard" edge to it...it's good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small brown head. Aroma is dark roasted malty, chocolate and almost breadish. Thcik malty, dense rich chocolate, solid liqourice. Smooth liqourice and dark roasted malty. Vague salty impression, lending towards tarish. Somewhat sweet. Lingering dark liqourice finish. Surprisingly well hidden alcohol.
