330 ml bottle. Pours black with short dark tan head. Rich aromas of vanilla, dark red berries, oily coffee, and dark chocolate. Flavors of rich dark chocolate, kahlua, dark berries, liquorice, and heavily roasted malts. Quite warm but in a nice chocolate liqueur way. Most excellent.

Wow.. full-bodied IS with a smooth creamy mouthfeel. Clean, very intense roasted taste, with a light sweetness and a long pleasent aftertaste.

Thick opaque black with no discernable head and light lacing. Big dark figs and bark and brambley treacle. Rich berry sweetness, indecent tart roast. The berry and light liquorice combo through. Soft but fading clay sweetness. Linger is pepper and bit of soy before a surge of tart bitterness.

Bottle. Warming, spicy alcohol balanced by a velvety smooth mouthfeel. Dark chocolate throughout, combined with tobacco and coffee. Great aroma and flavour depth. Superb beer!

UPDATED: FEB 16, 2014 Tap in Pudel at beer tasting. I cant say it was better than NC Old Rasputin, but definitely it was one of a kind. Full bodied, extremely roasted imperial stout. ABV is perfectly hidden. Creamy, pleasantly drinkable when rested for 30 min. Amazing brew, It is nice to have 1/40 of first overseas export for this one. Go for it guys! Update: had another pint (1/20 of first export :-P) Don’t do that. You should leave some of this nectar to others. ABV is there for a reason. Amazing brew nonetheless!
