11-MAY-2012, bottle @ home, from "Kihoskh".
Pours hazy orange with white head. Very fruity and brett’y nose with oranges, smoke, and milk. Taste the same with also malty dried fruity notes. A slight tartness. Very dry but the fruity notes leaves a sweeter impression. Fantastic compex drink. No longer an IIPA but something much classier:-)

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap @ CBC. Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma is a funny mix between tropical fruity hoppiness and wild yeast. Pineapple, sharp grapefruit, citrus, fresh and zesty hoppiness. On the other hand, subtle notes of lactobaccillus and brettanomyces. A sourish milky note, and some young brett that plays very well with the hops. Buy slightly soapy. Taste is pungent fruity hops like the aroma, a good amount of maltiness and sweetness and then a lightly tart bacterial edge. A bit milky, clearly lactobacc. presence. Very unique and interesting.

Pours dark orange with a tiny white head. Aroma of fruity hops, bretta notes, spices and caramel malts. Taste is very fruity with some maltiness, tartness and hints of caramel. Finish is slightly sour and tart with bitter hoppiness. Nice, quite complex and extreme IIPA.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draught @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012.
Pours a copper yellow colour with a small lacy head. Really intense aroma of strong brett, coriander and exotic fruits. Flavour is extremely intense as well; brett, spices, coriander, heavy floral hops and lemon zest. Full bodied, slick mouthfeel and a long, warming, tangy lemon finish with brett. Probably one of the most intense Double IPA’s I’ve tasted.
