Clear golden liquid with a small white head. Bitter hop-aroma, with grassy notes. Taste is kinda sweet, but the hops are really present in the taste aswell.

floral, resin, basement aromas, amber, hazy, frothy, white foam with tiny beautiful bubbles, medium sweetness, medium bitterness, lightly sour, medium body, medium body, creamy, average carbonation. Amazingly good beer. Very refresing almost like a saison. It seems like an American play on Orval for a great summer. Amazing beer.

Cloudy orange color with small white head. Aroma of pine, orange, passion fruit, bananas. Taste is sweet, fruity, with light bitter finish. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. I have to say that this is quite nice.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A bit heavy. Soft fruit, funkiness, but in the end this is not too appealing. Interesting experiment, but you cannot win them all.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Hazy bronze coloured body with a bit of an orange glow and a thin, one centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of tons of piney hops, bunches of belgian yeast, alcohol, nice sweet sugars and even a hint of fresh fruit. Full-bodied; Strong pungent medicinal and resinous flavour from malt and hops, but the yeast soon comes and is a bit too strong - like a loaf of bread in this one, with the candy sugars right behind that along with a deep hop finish. Aftertaste is mainly the yeastiness, some light malt, a tiny hop bitterness, and more yeast than a packet of Fleishmann’s - strong. Overall, not such a great Imperial IPA, especially for the price. Definitely not worth trying, you’d be much better off to get an American made Imperial IPA for half the price. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 30-December-2012 for US$6.79 sampled at home in Washington on 31-January-2013.

Bottle... Clear amber pour with flashes of orange and a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The aroma is perfumy and floral - pleasant and interesting. Medium-bodied with busy carbonation. The flavor is sweet, fruity and perfumy. This beer offers heaps of hop character, but minimal bitterness. Finishes sweet, then astringent, and then quite dry. Bottle courtesy of Plovmand!

Bottle from Cave a Bulles, Paris. Amber body with medium head. Nose is sour, funky. Taste more hoppier, sweet, caramel, sour, and very yeasty. Smooth syrupy texture. Quite nice, really.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours clear orange amber with a transient beige head. Hoppy aroma. Also earthy. Heat seems quite noticeable. Flavor is hoppy to the point the malt is barely noticeable. Heat increases. This is a beer with a strong impact. Nice.
