COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: English: Overall IIPA is - as the name denotes - an Imperial India Pale Ale created in close collaboration between To Øl and our good friends from Mikkeller. The mission was to create a hommage to the American beerculture, where beers needs to have flavour, taste and style, contrary to the urine-colored pseudo beer that we often drink in Denmark!
By first draught Overall IIPA has a sligthly caramelized malt profile, which gives you time to rest before your tastebuds are bombarded by a plethora of hop sensations, giving you hints of pines, citrus and grape. These are just barely harnessed by the sweetness of the alcohol. You suddenly realise that Overall IIPA is "overall" in your mouth and that drinking is living. For a short while you forget your tax-payments, work and the dishes. You relax and your shoulders drop down a couple of inches. You get carried away in a dream before you realise that your glass is empty and you need another one! Cheers!
Ingredients: Water, barley malt, flaked oats, hops (Simcoe, Amarillo and Centennial) and yeast.

Bottle. A hazy, amber beer with a small, beige head. Punch in the face American hoppyness in the aroma, Pine cones, resins and citrus peel. The malts are present, but at appropriate levels. Lovely bitterness in the mouth, with the hoppy and malty flavors expected. Not too malty and sweet. Full body, pleasant carbonation and with a little warmth. Lasting bitter finish with citrus and pine cones. A nice one indeed, but not world class. Would like to drink more of it. 110301

Hazy amber with a white head. Aroma is caramel, sweet fruity and very hoppy - grapefruit and peach. Flavor is rather sweet and very bitter. Very dry and bitter finish. A bit rough on the edges, but very good overall. I had this on tap at Fairbar at the sneak preview. 141010

11-FEB-2011, bottle @home, with Ulkløbben, from "Ølbutikken". Right after First Frontier IPA:-) Orange with white head. Extremely bitter and piney. Some malty fruits - oranges and lemon. Only slightly sweet, bitterness so extreme it dries out the mouth. Fantastic brew, not alcoholic, just lovely.

Bottle. Pours a murky orange with an off-white head. Crisp, sweet and tart citrus and pine hop aroma. Sweet, fruity and hoppy flavour wit hmetallic overtones. A bit tart. Quite tart and bitter finish. I like bitterness, but this one is sort of ’off’. And the mix with the tartness isn’t doing wonders either for some reason. Can’t say exactly what it is, but something here isn’t working for me. Otherwise an okay beer. 29.01.11.

0,33 l. bottle from Ølbutikken, Cph. Clear, orange color. Hints of toast (?), Aroma is grasses and citrus, not suprising for a hoppy beer. The high abv. is not present in aroma and taste. Nice! This hoppy beer has a medium bitterness, and a long lasting aftertaste/finish. Some lacing, soft carbonation. Dispite the high abv. and the very present hoppyness, this one is a very drinkable beer. I really enjoyed this one: Looking forward to more from To Øl.

Nice golden color with a medium white foaming head leaving lacings. Floral hop aroma, with loads of grape and a little mandarine. Quite alchochol flavor with both bitter hop and bitter alchohol notes. Abit too much alchohol for my liking but great aroma!
