COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: English: Overall IIPA is - as the name denotes - an Imperial India Pale Ale created in close collaboration between To Øl and our good friends from Mikkeller. The mission was to create a hommage to the American beerculture, where beers needs to have flavour, taste and style, contrary to the urine-colored pseudo beer that we often drink in Denmark!
By first draught Overall IIPA has a sligthly caramelized malt profile, which gives you time to rest before your tastebuds are bombarded by a plethora of hop sensations, giving you hints of pines, citrus and grape. These are just barely harnessed by the sweetness of the alcohol. You suddenly realise that Overall IIPA is "overall" in your mouth and that drinking is living. For a short while you forget your tax-payments, work and the dishes. You relax and your shoulders drop down a couple of inches. You get carried away in a dream before you realise that your glass is empty and you need another one! Cheers!
Ingredients: Water, barley malt, flaked oats, hops (Simcoe, Amarillo and Centennial) and yeast.

Tap@Fairbar Light orange with a slight ofwhite head. Aroma is hobs, lots of hobs, with pine, grapefruight, but also some sweeter aromas like abricot Taste is highly bitter with pine, grape coming in first, then some sweeter citrus notes like oranges / abricot . Very nice brew, with a high drinkabilyti. Noce first effort from the To Øl boys, and im looking forward to have more beers from them

Pours orange with a small white head. Aroma is pleasant with mostly citrus and pine, but not very complex. Taste has a modest sweetness, pine, gooseberries and a lot of grapefruit. The hops definitely dominate, which gets the saliva running. It has a quite dry feeling and ends with a long bitter finish. A really nice start for To Øl, which I hope to see more of in the future.

Belgo (154) - Køge, DENMARK - OCT 15, 2010
Tap at Mikkeller. Copper coloured with a nice, pretty long lasting white head. Massive citrusy aromas - typical of US hops. The alcohol is noticeable in a certain way; the aroma has a sort of creamy, full bodied fruity note to it, but there are none of the off alcoholic flavours that are far too common in imperial IPAs. On the palate it is, obviously, hoppy and bitter with a nice, creamy malty background. Dried fruits and citrus. A very very nice opening from To Øl! Congratulations and welcome in the game, guys ;-)

tap at mikkeller bar launch event. clear orange, smooth offwhite head. fresh hoppy aroma, flowery, mild, not brutal. flavor is dry hoppy , but with a flowery hoppy base. after a few seconds lots of hops bitterness kicks in. also loads of sweet malts, and more flowery notes. the bitterness manages to balance the other flavors well, and it helps that the beer turns more bitter in the end and aftertaste. Pretty good easy to drink IIPA with a big bitterhoppy boost towards the end. alc. well hidden and well used.
