English: English: Overall IIPA is - as the name denotes - an Imperial India Pale Ale created in close collaboration between To Øl and our good friends from Mikkeller. The mission was to create a hommage to the American beerculture, where beers needs to have flavour, taste and style, contrary to the urine-colored pseudo beer that we often drink in Denmark!
By first draught Overall IIPA has a sligthly caramelized malt profile, which gives you time to rest before your tastebuds are bombarded by a plethora of hop sensations, giving you hints of pines, citrus and grape. These are just barely harnessed by the sweetness of the alcohol. You suddenly realise that Overall IIPA is "overall" in your mouth and that drinking is living. For a short while you forget your tax-payments, work and the dishes. You relax and your shoulders drop down a couple of inches. You get carried away in a dream before you realise that your glass is empty and you need another one! Cheers!
Ingredients: Water, barley malt, flaked oats, hops (Simcoe, Amarillo and Centennial) and yeast.

Bottle - Huge pine hop aroma with malts peeking through. Muddy orange with a thick rich head. Starts sweet and goes straight into a hop bitterness and then ends sweet again. Piney, orange pith with malts and the slightest alcohol tinge at the end. Oily and thick on the palate. Pretty good but nothing exceptional.

12oz bottle----> tulip. Pours a cloudy gold with minimal head and lacing. Aroma is sweet caramel and alcohol. Taste is candied apricot, and mild pine and sweet alcohol.. Nice palate with plenty of carbonation. Tastes like a typical midwest IPA (Founders Centennial to be specific) .

Pours a cloudy, apricot colour beneath a thick white head. Strong, concentrated aroma with grapefruit, lychee, apricot. Full bodied, with an interesting pulpy-like mouth feel. Quite bitter with a touch of apricot up front and the finish is lingering grapefruit. Actually, it tastes a lot like pulpy grapefruit juice. Alcohol is not noticeable. I like it.

Huge aroma of hops and caramel. Pours a deep toffee amber with off white foam head. Taste is what a IIPA should be - malt, toffee, caramel, dark fruits....but then giving way to floral, zest hop tastes. Alcohol taste of course. Epic beer

Tap at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell - 29/11/12. Pours a hazed mid amber wih a thin off white head. Nose is bitter hops, caramel malt, toffee, light whiff of chlorene, pine, burnt tones. Taste comprises soured and bitter grapefruit, sweet caramelised sugars, light dungyness, touch of booze. Fuller end of medium bodied with a little too much spritz in the carbonation for my liking. Drinkable a strange mix of sweet and sour, but not really my bag!

Bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a hazy golden orange with a medium sized creamy off white head. The aroma has sweet malts, floral and citrus hops, earthy, mild spiciness. The flavor has sweet malts and ample fruity notes, light citrus, hint of peppery spiciness, caramel with a dry bitterness to the finish.

Bottle. Pours hazy orange with a medium, frothy white head, medium-long retention with good lacing. Aroma is fragrant pine, resin, citrus, and herbal hops with biscuit and cracker malt and tropical fruity esters. Flavor is heavy hops and bitterness, pineapple and tropical fruits with light malt and a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation.

33cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with thin white head; decent amount of lacing. Aroma is caramel, orange, grapefruit, slight resinous pine - big hop hit, but not quite as zingy and in-your-face as I’d like. Note of booze on the nose too. Taste is much the same with a somewhat sticky caramel malt hit balancing out the aggressive orange/grapefruit/citric hopping; plenty of sweet tangerine stuff going on, before a brief hit of pine, and then a lengthier hit of booze - pretty warming as it goes down. Lingering mouthcoating resiny bitterness (yep, it is an "overall" coating!). I do love a good powerful IIPA, but the booze notes and the heavy sweetness in this are a bit distracting from what it should be about - hops hops and more hops. Still a pretty exciting beer though, enjoyed it.

Hazy orange beer, tiny white head. Creamy orange nose. Light dry palate. Fresh orange and a little mango. Strong aniseed alcohol. A little cream. Overall a pleasant orange - cream IPA but the alcohol is quite obvious. Dry finish.
