COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: The sequel to the Mikkeller/To Øl collab "Overall IIPA". The same beer but with tons of nice nutty aromatic espresso coffee. This is hybrid beer if ever seen one. The combination of fruits and citrus from the hops and the round coffee aromas plus the warmth of the alcohol makes this a clash of a IIPA, Black IPA, American strong and Barley Wine. Cheers!

Draft. Pours opaque orange light lacing creamy beige small head. Aroma is moccachino like, bitter coffee, straw, peach, caramel, sour grape. Taste is medium sweet, medium+ bitter and a sour note. Body is medium, texture is smooth, carbonation is soft. Finishes astringent and light sour. Somewhat incoherent. The coffee fails to impress whereas the base beer is quite nice.

Cloudy amber with a big offwhite head that disappears quickly. Citrus and coffee, and a hint of ashtrey in the nose. The same ashtrey comes out in the taste aswell, which ofcourse is a big downer. I liked the concept of this beer, but it wasn’t really for me.

Bottle from five bar. Pours a cloudy orange with small white head. Nose has loads of citrus fruits and coffee malts. Heaps of booze in this baby. Taste is incredibly smooth. Espresso smoothing out the hop bitterness. Heaps of citrus coming through. Well balanced. Dangerous beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dogbrick (7998) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JAN 9, 2013
This brew pours a slightly cloudy amber color with a thick and foamy off-white head that diminishes slowly, and some sediment in the bottom of the glass. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and slight coffee in the nose. Medium to full body with flavors of citrusy hops, sweet malt and coffee. The finish is fruity with a lingering hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2014 Bottle from Blue Max. Murky orange pour with a small spotty head. Pine hop, and lots of coffee grounds and cigarette ash. Strange but pretty good.

Bottle shared by a friend. Pours clear amber with a medium beige head. Aroma of malt, spicy and resinous hops and some roast. Malty flavor with grassy hops and a resinous finish.

Bottle - 330ml. Cloudy caramel body with a huge off-white frothy head. Fresh malty/hoppy aroma with grainy and coffeeish hints. Alcohol is very well hidden. Its sharp hoppy taste carries malty, coffeeish, piney, and green pepper notes. Ends with a robust, dry, bitter/spicy finish. Interesting.

Cloudy orange pour with an off-white head. Definitely some coffee aroma to this. Floral and citrus hops, a mild roast aroma, some sweet caramel, and spicy hops. Good malt sweetness to the flavor. Some caramel and toffee notes, fairly heavy coffee, and just a bit of roast. Nice floral, citrus, and spicy hops. Just a bit of bitterness on the finish.

Cloudy, stormy, darker amber colour, coffee, chocolate, caramel and a floral hint in aroma. Smooth and full body, coffee and malty flavour, floral at front and smooth coffee finish. A favourite.
