3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
From tap at MikkellerBar. Pours hazy to slight murky orange with a small white head. Aroma is grapefruity, mild peachy and light pine. Light coffee noge. Sweet, pineneedle, almost spiced, dry and towards even herbal coffee. Dry and solid bitter, yet lingering fruity into the far finish. Light coffee note into the finish.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft. An unclear dark golden beer with a lazing orangey head. Tha aroma has notes of citrusy hops, herbs, and peaches. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, coffee, cream, caramel, and spicy hops, leading to a bitter finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap. Hazy opaque dark amber with a tiny off-white head. The aroma is a little odd with the coffee and hops fighting each other rather than challenging each other - and none seem to come out victorious. Medium body with a lightly sweet fruitiness. The hop freshness is drowned in coffee which on the other hand isn’t really shining either - it’s just bitter. I much prefer Overall IIPA - the base beer for this. Sorry guys, I’ve enjoyed your beers so far, but this one fails to convince. 240212

28th April 2012
Cloudy brown beer. Good cream coloured head. Crispy palate, semi dry. Minerally crisp start. Quality coffee - mellow but flavoursome and a little fruity, Would be happy to start my day with a cup of this! Coffee cream on the back end with mild citric hops and some green hop sting. Orange and a little mango. More coffee cream before the smooth finish. Very tasty.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. An unclear dark golden beer, almost without head. Lots of coffee in the aroma, with the pinecones and grapefruit in the far back. The flavor is less on the coffee side, but still the coffee dominates. Blends nicely with the orange, grapefruit and pine cones. Full body, soft carbonation. Nice bitterness kicks in towards the end. A nice one indeed, but maybe a tad too much coffee all the way. Surprisingly low on alcohol aroma and flavor considering the ABV. 130504

33cl bottle from my good friend Martin for being his Best Man. Hazy dark brown colour with lasting beige rocky head. Coffee and big hoppy aroma. Wow that is a really big hoppy DIPA. With a hint of coffee. That is a hell of a DIPA. It’s really good. Not much heat on end, just a bit of burn. It’s smooth as hell. Wow this is a really good beer.
