Bottle to glass. Pours a cloudy reddish brown with a tan head. Aroma is hot, with sweet wine notes and strong barley wine characteristics. Flavor is a sweet hotness, with tangy barley notes on the tongue. Medium body with a oily creamy mouth feel. Very complex and tasty beer.

Bottle thanks to Bill! Poured deep burgundy with a creamy beige head. The aroma picked up rich vinous notes, molasses, and herbal notes with a bit of citrusy accent.. warm and welcoming. The flavor found warm molasses, caramel, and fruity notes with peppery , oak, and vinous accents.. spicy and oaky on the edges.. finished hot and spicy. Heavy-bodied with low carbonation.. thick. Solid stuff.
