Small tan head, quickly reduced to lace. Aroma is strongly winey. Flavor has raisins, is rather sweet, with a mildly sour twist on the sticky finish. Not all that harmonious.

Opaque/cloudy with little head. Strong aroma of Muscatel, and strong taste of raisins on the end. The combination of a barley wine and Muscatel is a little bit too sweet for me, though while it tastes sweet the palate is not syrupy.
