OK, a combination of my favorite bottle format (wide ass mouthed green thick glass 37.5cl bottle) and one of my favorite breweries brewing my favorite style. Yes! Heaven. It pours with a nearly clear deep copper body that has amber hues and supports a full tan head. The aroma offers up sweet tangerine, pineapple, spicy yeast and then a sizeable spicy woodiness. The taste starts thick and bold with malts, residual sugars, wide citrus notes, some mango and then a bit of a woody yeasty sort of note. To midway a mild malt and nutty sensation is just noticed underneath all of the sweetened citrus hops that dominate this brew. As it warms a pleasing spicy dank kind of garlic note rises up to be heard alongside the thick malt sweetened citrusy notes that are going on. Solid hoppy barleywine.

Nose is sweet, pear drops candy sugar, yeast, some goesbury hint of citrus and hops with thick caramel. Taste is candy sweet leading, pear drops, sweet malts, marmalade, sugar, slight orange peel tang in the finish. Mouthfeel is thick. It’s a nice drink, but lacks complexity and the sweetness too overpowering to be great.

Aromas of dark berries. The taste is of yeast, sweetness and some fruitiness. Good bitterness that fills the upper part of the mouth for a long time. Although I might add that there is some alcohol taste. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

"A big (though not think or sticky) sweet and bitter alcohol bomb. Reminiscent a little of the very very good Walk on Water collaboration that was 14% with a low gravity. Lots of citrus (mainly orange peel) and vanilla sweetness. Guilty pleasure, great sipper."

On tap at The Archive for Armakeggon. Huge flavours in this bad boy, smooth for such a strong drink, very, very tasty. A great example of a barley wine.

Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is of dark fruits with some caramel malts and some alcohol. Flavor is strong of the plums, caramel malts, and alcohol.

Light amber to golden, stable small head. Dark malts yet not roasted or anything, more thick. Sweet but not as concentrated as expected at this abv. Given the score on RateBeer, slightly disappointing. Good brew though. (375ml bottle from Bière Révolution shared with Guus and Tim)

Taster at ei8htball - nose is a mix between cleaning product and mash. Sweet but not over the top sweet. Pine. Smooth. Boozy. A sipper even for a taster.
