Bottle, 375 ml. Light hazy reddish amber with a decent off white head. Sweet caramelish, yeasty nose with hints of alcohol. Taste is rather sweet, caramelish, toasted, quite some alcohol, abricots and grapefruits in the finish, very decent bitter ending.

An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of straw and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Bottle 37,5 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours amber with a slight haze and a creamy off-white head. Caramellish nose with some citrusy hops and a spicy edge. Solid body, very caramellish, somewhat estery, powerful and sweet but never cloying. Even though the hops aren’t crisp they manage to balance the sweetness throughout. Enjoyable. 031212

375mL bottle, pours a hazy dark amber with a medium beige head. Nose is full of dark fruits, toasted nuts, caramel malts and a healthy hop dose. Flavour is unique, unlike any barley wine I’ve had before, with butterscotch, some interesting herbal notes I can’t quite put my finger on, some caramel malts, and a big resinous hop punch. There is a very noticeable boozy kick, with an acetic finish. Full-bodied, but very hoppy, with a lot of booze. Decent stuff.

Bottle. Hazy amber color, no head to speak of. Aroma is very floral, more hop aroma than the average barleywine. Taste is sweet caramel with a bit of spice.

375mL thanks to Travlr. Pours a low haze deep orange. Weak head. Nose is cheesy, sticky, dog breath, gummies. Taste is sticky gummies, very sweet, sharp paper. Eh. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
