Bottle provided by Travlr. Thanks! Poured a cloudy amber color with a very wispy off-white head. Aroma was sweet, mild malts. Flavor was pretty malty, touch of spice.

375mL bottle, pours a hazy dark amber with a medium beige head. Nose is full of dark fruits, toasted nuts, caramel malts and a healthy hop dose. Flavour is unique, unlike any barley wine Ive had before, with butterscotch, some interesting herbal notes I cant quite put my finger on, some caramel malts, and a big resinous hop punch. There is a very noticeable boozy kick, with an acetic finish. Full-bodied, but very hoppy, with a lot of booze. Decent stuff.

Bottle. Hazy amber color, no head to speak of. Aroma is very floral, more hop aroma than the average barleywine. Taste is sweet caramel with a bit of spice.

375mL thanks to Travlr. Pours a low haze deep orange. Weak head. Nose is cheesy, sticky, dog breath, gummies. Taste is sticky gummies, very sweet, sharp paper. Eh. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours very hazy brown with a slight beige head. Aroma is brown sugar with evergreen. Med + body. Flavor is warming brown sugar with a good amount of resin hop. It finishes well balanced. Complex. Very tasty.

Bottle from Star Grocery, Berkeley. Pours orange copper with a short orange-tinged beige head and a toffee aroma. There is a complex flavor that includes candi sugar and lots of bitter hopping. An interesting brew.

Hazy red-amber color, with medium sized creamy head. Different aroma, moderately pungent, strange hop mix (light), not strong. The caramel and malt flavor is decent, but not rich and sweet as typical Barley Wines; it has a toffee note too, and strong bitterness, with good resins and some fruity side, and moderate alcohol perception. Medium long final.
The malt profile is between a Barley Wine and an English Strong Ale, well hopped obviously; and professionally brewed, clean; but not exciting.

Aroma of sugars, pine hops and good floral. Pours red and good laces. Taste has a great pine hop with herbal tea. Very flavorful. I love it.
