Tap. Pours clear and orangy amber with a small white head. Aroma of slightly toasted malt, caramel and citrus. Sweet flavor that ends up malty with some alcohol. Medium bodied, oily to syrupy texture and soft CO2. An excellent barley with a hoppy touch. ★★★★

Tap at mikkellerbar. Sleightly unclear amber look with a minimal offwhite head. Boozy aroma, acacia honney, light brewmash in the form of bakery. Decent balance considering the abv. Sirup and honney sweetness. Alchohol bitterness. Finish is bitter

draught@POOC - hazy amber-orange beer with a firm and long lasting head; hoppy aroma of mango, caramel and slightly spicy; full-bodied and pretty sweet, clean palate, a fair bitterness, lot of residual sweetness and more notes of exotic fruits; the alcohol is well-hidden

Tap. Clear red amber with a lasting, lacing off white head. Aroma is caramel, toffee, toasted malt, light fruit, light red berries, light lemon. Taste is heavy sweet and mild bitter, sticky/oily texture, soft carbonation, medium+ body. Sweet caramel finish that turns hoppy dry with a bit of booze. I like that.

maybe i was influenced by this beer’s name, but the label in the store looked like it didn’t have a space: to øl = toøl ~ tool

375 ml. green bottle. Pours a thick, well retained, light beige head, with extensive lacing, over a slightly hazy, particle laden reddish dark amber (SRM 15) body......nose is treacle, dark fruits, light pine, citrus.....taste is sweet treacle, pine, resin, citrus including both lemon and grapefruit,, hints of dark fruits including plum, raisin, finishing with a pine citrus peel bitterness....mouth feel medium, sticky, slightly astringent, alcohol heat present, carbonation low. This is a very sweet, highly alcoholic beer. While it meets the style of a Barley Wine, the heavy sweetness is too dominant. BJCP 8/2/14/4/7
