Hazy red-amber color, with medium sized creamy head. Different aroma, moderately pungent, strange hop mix (light), not strong. The caramel and malt flavor is decent, but not rich and sweet as typical Barley Wines; it has a toffee note too, and strong bitterness, with good resins and some fruity side, and moderate alcohol perception. Medium long final.
The malt profile is between a Barley Wine and an English Strong Ale, well hopped obviously; and professionally brewed, clean; but not exciting.

Pours a clear and copper beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is malt, caramel, fruit and hops. The flavor follows the nose with additional hops with tropical fruit and citrus. The palate is bitterness and some sweetness. Overall a good beer.

(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm) Reddish amber colour with creamy, beige head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of caramel, red fruit and red-currant. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, red fruit, burnt rubber, a puff of alcohol, turning into a generous earthy bitterness in a fairly vinous finish. Full body, thick and oily mouthfeel. Quite sweet. It’s quite powerful and vinous, but very tasty and nice.

Bottle. Dark ruby, off-white head. Aroma: malty, floral, fruity, vanilla. Taste: sweet malt base, pine and resin, vanilla, fruity with dried apricots and candy peaches. The alcohol is not very apparent. Medium to full-bodied. This is nice. More balanced than what the name implies.
