Pours an amber copper colour with a white head. Aroma of sweet caramel, sugar, dried apricot and some spices. Flavour of sweet caramel, raisins, strong grassy hops, spices and some apricot. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a sweet, raisiny, spicy finish. Alcohol warms nicely. Overall a rather nicely hopped barleywine with strong sweetness. Good.

Candy sugar, bread, dried fruit, hops. Taste the same. Even better and longer than the aroma.
Full body and soft carbonation. Fantastic barley wine. Marianne drinks half of my glass:)

Tap. Pours clear and orangy amber with a small white head. Aroma of slightly toasted malt, caramel and citrus. Sweet flavor that ends up malty with some alcohol. Medium bodied, oily to syrupy texture and soft CO2. An excellent barley with a hoppy touch. ★★★★
