COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is our attempt of substituting the morning mochaccino coffee with a beer. You get the nicely roasted chocolate malts, some creamy lactose for the milk and a shot of nutty espresso coffee in your mug. And then some alcohol, it seemed just as obvious as vodka in a white russian. We do not recommend opting for this beer instead of coffee (all the time...) – Original “The Monday Morning Mochaccino Messiah”

Ingredients: Water, Malted barley, flaked oats, lactose, Hops (Simcoe, Citra, Nelson Sauvin, Centennial), coffee and Yeast.

Pours dark brown with a large, lasting head. Nose shows heavy coffee and roasted malt. Little else, but it’s very enticing. Dry flavours, lots of roast and fresh coffee. Falls a bit short. Carbonation is too high. A little light-on in the flavour department.

Pours muddy deepest reddish black with white top. Reminds blend of English old or strong ale with coffee, chocolate syrup. Dry mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Flavor is semisweet malt with mix of coffee and noble fruity hop sort. In aroma I would say that coffee overruns the New World hops nobility - a bit too much simple coffee. Very ale-y seems to me, yeasty-liked that. Overall - nice but I will say that not well balanced.

Big tan head on this one. Rusty-brown color, not as dark as I was expecting. Coffee is mostly on the nose, but still quite strong in the aftertaste. Maltier than expected, but it’s appreciated here.

Small bottle. Pours dark brown with a tall beige head. Sweet roast, plenty of hops and milk chocolate in the aroma. Sweet and mildly roasty taste with coffee and lactose. A bit too sweet maybe. The coffee taste is not too well integrated - it just stands out too much, making the palate a bit disharmonic. Some people will probably love it, though.

Bottle from Maekchu. Dark brown with ruby tints and a nice head. Nose of chocolate, coffee, rich and nice. A bit earthy with good cocoa. Rich, chocolatey flavor with coffee, milk, light fruitiness. Very nice.

Bottle. Gift from Neko-chan. Dark translucent brown. Smooth sweet coffee initial; mid gets just a touch of boiled coffee; final goes out smoothly. Thin-medium body. Very pleasant. They got the coffee level just about right on this one.

Bouteille 330ml.

Brown, tan head with thin retention. Nose is coffee, cocoa hints, roasted malt. Taste begins malty with caramel and cocoa, and ends with bitter coffee (with cream) and roasted malt. Slightly nutty finish with more coffee. Nice blend of coffee and beer.

Bought this for my boss for xmas. Don’t even know if she likes beer but she does like coffee. She is brilliant though. This was nice, no bitter hop hit, but a lovely malty coffee choc balance. Good.
