We bring to you a big black dirty deep delicious crazy craving creepy imperial stout created on the love to extreme beers and stupid ideas. We bring to you a fairytale. A love story between two scandinavian breweries whos destiny was simply just meant to be. We bring to you Brewmance. An Imperial Stout, that has been brewed with honey from the Swedish female urban honey collective called BeeUrban. The Bee hives here are placed on different rooftops in Stockholm and the honey is extreme in every way. After fermentation the beer has matured 3 months in Bourbon Barrels. Cheers!

No date but purchased All Star Week 2015 from Kung Food Chu Amerasia. Poured July 28, 2015 in to a Mad ElF tulip/snifter. Look - Dark brown to black. Finger of tan head with 90 degree pour from beginning. Lacing and head are similar in that they are there but dissipate in a minute or two. Smell - Boozy. Vanilla. Dark fruit. Hops and honey come forward when swirled. Honey doesn’t come through as expected. Taste - Marshmallow. Coffee. Char. Chocolate. Bourbon. Black cherry. Feel - Very smooth feeling despite ABV and barrel. No carbonation bomb but not flat. Burn on tongue from hops or alcohol minimal. Overall - I have a feeling this was aged a little longer than expected. Very mellow. Very good barrel aged stout. It is hard to mess up but good nonetheless.

A very dark brown black beer with a dark coffee coloured head. A rich fruit pudding aroma, candied peel, raisins, treacle, then a mild woodiness that bring in a hint of spice. Dry mouthfeel. A dry taste, the woodiness and the vanilla spice lead, adding a dry nutty flavour. This is followed by slightly smoother dried fruit flavours, raisins and candy peel, plus treacle and bready. Towards the end a boozy tartness comes in. The finish is long, dry nutty and woody, with a boozy tartness and slightly sweet dried fruit.

Smaksprøve fra Rune. Kullsort. Lavt farget bobleskum. God sjokoladearoma med hint av lakris. Oljeaktig munnfølelse. Rik smak med mye lakris. Et visst preg av tørr sherry. Langvarig tørr ettersmak. Utmerket øl!

375ml bottle with a black neck, topped by a cork and a wire cradle. Bubbly tan-coloured head, nice lacework on the glass. Black as pitch. Smell of cocoa, vanilla oak, mid-sweet. Taste of dark fruits, earth, biscuit and bourbon beneath it all. Drying aftertaste warming down the swallow. Likable Saturday night sipper at home in Tromsø, 25.04.2015.

Bottle split at Bruces pad - for the last time, thanks to Daniel, 27/03/15. Black topped with a moderate tan swirl. Nose is rich roast, herbal, spice, woody notes, dark fruit rinds. Taste comprises ashen tones, earthy roast, chocolate, herbal notes, light spice. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with warming alcohol tones. Ok but lower order for the style.

375ml, BB Dec 2022 (2012 vintage?), 11.2%. Shared at Bruce’s. Black, no real head. Aroma is papery, card, chocolate, woody. Body is medium, smooth, low carbonation. Taste is drying, chocolate, a little honey, boozey, dry ashy finish. Nice enough.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Daniel. Pours deep brown with a creamy beige head. The nose has some roast, fusel alcohol, burnt wood. Medium sweet flavor with some bitter dark chocolate, oily dark fruits, earth. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish with more cocoa, burnt wood, more dark fruits. Pretty decent.
