COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We bring to you a big black dirty deep delicious crazy craving creepy imperial stout created on the love to extreme beers and stupid ideas. We bring to you a fairytale. A love story between two scandinavian breweries whos destiny was simply just meant to be. We bring to you Brewmance. An Imperial Stout, that has been brewed with honey from the Swedish female urban honey collective called BeeUrban. The Bee hives here are placed on different rooftops in Stockholm and the honey is extreme in every way. After fermentation the beer has matured 3 months in Bourbon Barrels. Cheers!

Bottled. Pours pitch black with a medium sized, lacing, tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, licorice and molasses. Sweet flavor that ends up with a little malt bitterness and alcohol notes.. Full bodied, oily to creamy texture and soft to flat carb. An excellent and quite smooth impy.

Surprisingly good. Nice roast. Some sweetness. Very approachable as an impy even on this 80 degree day.

Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass: Medium sized, vast but pretty quick changing, mocha brown foamy head on top of a pitch black colored beer. Aromas of oatmeal, rice, alcohol, spices, wood, light bourbon, some coffee, some roasted barley malts, some liquorice, cream, hint of liquorice, light vinous and some dark chocolate. Flavours of cream, roast, burned/roasted wood, barley malts roast, spices, light bourbon, light vanilla, light alcohol, light rice, some oatmeal, bitter, coffee, mocha, some hints of chocolate and cacoa, light dry and some flowers. Aftertaste of coffee, roast (malts and wood), bitters, dry and some creamy spices. Low carbo, soft silky thicker mouthfeel, medium to full body and an oily texture. Very well palate. The Bourbon seems just to be mixing in from a younger moment. Guess they should have left the beer for approximately 6 months in the barrel to let the Bourbon take a creamy spicy vanilla hand. But well, this is what we got and I guess we should be happy with it. I am not whining cause it’s still a really good beer!

On tap @ Mikkeller & Friends. Pours cloudy very dark brown with stable tan head. Dark aroma of malt, caramel and roasted coffee beans. Sweet, alty inset, replaced by intense roasty notes, ending sweet with discernible touches of honey and warming alcohol presence. Good.

375 ml bottle @ Timo A.
Pours pitch black color with a small, rapidly dissipating beige head. Aroma of bourbon, vanilla, mild red wine notes, roasted malts and dark chocolate. Flavor of dark berries, roasted malts, tar, honey, some dark chocolate, bourbon, vanilla and some soy. Some mildly disturbing tangy notes here, hoped for smoother experience. Quite complex and tasty but a bit off. Somewhat disappointing.

Aroma is a bit odd and light with rubber and honey. Flavour has stinging whiskey, vanilla, salty licorice, wood and peaty notes. Honey in the background. Heavy stuff, too strong on whiskey.

375 ml bottle. Thanks olio. Pours a black colour with a white head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, honey, salt, soy sauce and hay. Flavour of roasted malts, alcohol, strong pungent honey, wood, salty licorice, salt, nuts and hay. Full bodied and a pungent, wooden, honey finish. Alcohol comes through a lot. Not quite ready yet.

Synthetic cork; bb 11/12/22
Black color with medium sized brownish head. The aroma is powerful, balanced and complex; fine roasted malts, oak, dark chocolate, a touch of liquorice, followed by some dark fruits. Full bodied, but also with too high alcohol perception; the flavor is essential roasted malt, without richness, without dark chocolate, with some tobacco and liquorice, strong bitterness.
Boozy and uncomplicated, expensive.

375ml bottle from Bierkompass

Pours pitch black with a small light brown head. Aroma of sweet roasted malts, licorice, hints of smoke, ash, honey and stingy bourbon notes. Taste is roasted, carbonated and sugary with notes of syrup, hints of bourbon, wood and honey. Finish is syrupy, roasty and sweetish with notes of licorice, wood and hints of honey. Okay, quite good imperial stout.
