"Sometimes when youre drunk you can see better."

This is <em>the</em> lager. This is the pilsner, the lager, the bottom fermented beer. This is the Captain on the deck, one of the lone lagers cruising on the ocean of ale. To l actually loves lager type beers, and sometimes lagers is missed out because of the many great ales present. Problem is that most people who brew lagers apparently has a taste of old dusty piss yellow obnoxious stale impotent beers. So now was the time to stir things up and tell the people how you can do a super hoppy, well balanced pilsner type beer!

Pours amber with a small head. Floral and fruity hops in the aroma, lots of peach and orange blossom. Some soft sweet malt too. Very hoppy, aggressive flavours. Lots more floral and fruity hops. Very bold, sharp bitterness, with little supporting sweet malt. Carbonation seems a bit full-on.

Good scent. Taste is no lagers can I say. It is good and closer to an IPA instead. The aftertaste is good and decent length. Follow me @ Kung av l / King of Beer @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Growler. Rose gold with a white head that lasts well. Grapefruit, lychees, passionfruit flowers, some grain. Taste is mainly tingly hop aromatics, but theres some clean grainy sweetness under there too (rather more would have worked for me). Bitterness is firm and the finish is dry. Hoped for a really good lager but just got more hops. Balance improved a bit as it warmed to 10-11C. The hops are fine enough to make it a nice dog in the manger.

In bottle. Smells like peach, grapes, steamy wood, and pine. Tastes quite bitter and fibrous. Perhaps a hint of green bell pepper. Classified as a lager, but looks like a pale ale. Surprising beer!

Aroman var fantastisk för att vara en lager. Väldigt fruktig ! Smaken var mycket bättre än en vanlig lager, litengödsel.

Aroma: citrus and herbs -- fabulous. Appearance: hazy orange, nice head. Taste: resin, herbs, balanced - almost excelent. Palate: light carbonation and light body. Very drinkable.
