COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Sometimes when youre drunk you can see better."

This is the lager. This is the pilsner, the lager, the bottom fermented beer. This is the Captain on the deck, one of the lone lagers cruising on the ocean of ale. To l actually loves lager type beers, and sometimes lagers is missed out because of the many great ales present. Problem is that most people who brew lagers apparently has a taste of old dusty piss yellow obnoxious stale impotent beers. So now was the time to stir things up and tell the people how you can do a super hoppy, well balanced pilsner type beer!

An IPL in all but name, this is big on the almost cartoon like citrus and pine notes with a smooth, quenching body and a lovely dry finish. A great lager, a fantastic summer beer and well, just a good beer in its own right.

Bottle. Cant believe that this is a lager... It looks a bit darker than regular, but has a beautiful white head on top. Hop aroma explodes when opening and pouring this beer. Mostly piney aromas. Flavour is incredibly well hopped, no skunkiness or wet grass, dusty flavours.. this is all hop and vague malty tones.. wow. If Ive tasted this blind I wouldve said it was an IPA at least... This is great... by far the best lager Ive ever had!

Bottle at home. Little hazy dark golden color, medium white head disappears pretty quickly. Fantastic hoppy aroma with fruits and flowers. Taste of hops, fruits, medium-high co2, citrus, some malty body.

Very impressive barrel-aged lager that tastes more of an IPA than anything else. Lager mouthfeel is there but the corn-like thickness of the aftertaste is not. impressive. Pours much darker than you would think. Pleasantly hopped.

Half finger foam. Golden clear. Loads of dry hopping i guess. A very "strong" lager hybrid. Great brew.

Color: nice amber beer with small carbonization and heavy ivory foam. Smell: hops, spicies, sugar complexity. Taste: hops, bitter and sugar, caramel. Aftertaste: great domination of wheat and not dry sensation

Great aroma from the Sauvin. Pours clear with decent head. Taste is all about the hops. Lots of grapefruit and mango. A slight hint of Pilsner yeast. Finish is nice and balanced. Why cant all lagers taste like this?!
