4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottled. Pours a golden yet clear body with an off-white crown. The aroma is fresh. I can smell some malt, citra and its somewhat dry. Taste is wonderful, it has that perfect mix of citra, tropics, pine and some dry malt. Excellenr beer.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap @ Rotterdam, Helsinki. Poured amber with a thick, creamy everlasting, lacing white head. Aroma had citrus, pineapple, pine. Flavor was grapefruit, light caramel malt, pine and grassy notes. Thick, oily mouthfeel. Almost abit heavy to drink, but quite refreshing. for a premium lager, this was awesome.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear deep golden with a lacing off-white head. Fresh citrusy hops dominate the nose. Medium-bodied, very soft mouthfeel, a rather dry maltiness (would’ve loved a tiny bit more sweetness) and again fresh tropical hop notes that leave a dry hoppiness. A very simple and very quaffable little beer. 030712

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap @rotterdam. Light orange, amber, slightly hazy. Like a classic apa on the nose; citrus, malts (a bit grainy), some pine, light apricot. Bitter, light. Dry. Feels a bit too thin and too bitter for the body, but easily drunk and ok on such a warm day.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
(Draught at Rotterdam, 20120701) The beer poured copper coloured and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, pine, citricness and malts. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, grain, pine, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, a bit grainy and quite bitter. Very tasty beer but was this really a pale lager.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
330ml bottle (Drink Shop, Tallinn)
I liked the look of this before I’d even seen the liquid, a dense little smoky waft of CO2 came out of the bottle as I started pouring, it just looked great. In the glass it’s a clear light orange, and with a large forthy head. Super citrussy aroma, some lemon, some grapefruit, even some orange too. Lovely and refreshing in the mouth, a gentle tingle from the carbonation, but enlivened by some lovely hops. Lovely light bready grains, and a rollercoaster of sharp fruity citrus hops, leaving a lovely gentl simulacrum of the taste in the finish. It all comes together perfectly. It took about 2 minutes to drink the whole bottle, it was just so damn delicious and drinkable. Possibly the best pilsner I’ve ever had. More please!

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
great beer! really hoppy and nice bitterness in the end but well balanced. Light body which was expected but the aroma and the overall hop concept just blew my mind - like a hoppy apa - this is how lagers should be like - This together with Mikkeller american dream my all time favorite lagers.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
From a bottle at the Icelandic Beer Center. Hazy and golden in appearance. Nice white head and bitter aroma and taste. Smells bit of bread and hay; tastes a bit grassy/floral. Nothing special going on here.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle @ Micro Bar Reykjavik shared with Siggi. A bit hazy, orangish golden appearance with an off white head. Very unique, spicy, vinous, orange citrusy, light garlic, onion aroma. Somewhat toasty, light caramel, onion, garlic, somewhat herbal, spicy hoppy, a bit grassy flavor. Incredibly unique and makes me wonder if it’s actually lagered.
