COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Sometimes when you’re drunk you can see better."

This is the lager. This is the pilsner, the lager, the bottom fermented beer. This is the Captain on the deck, one of the lone lagers cruising on the ocean of ale. To Øl actually loves lager type beers, and sometimes lagers is missed out because of the many great ales present. Problem is that most people who brew lagers apparently has a taste of old dusty piss yellow obnoxious stale impotent beers. So now was the time to stir things up and tell the people how you can do a super hoppy, well balanced pilsner type beer!

0,33L bottle. Amber color and nice fat foam. Fruity, raisin aroma with gentle hops. Little spicey, orange and grapefruit peel. Mild hops, roasted bread. Medium bitter end. Good after work, when thirsty.

Bottle at home. The color of this lager surprises with its cloudy orange appearance and a creamy, off-white and medium head. The aroma is dominated by fruity hops and with notes of passion fruit, peach, grass, flowers and a little caramel. Really nice and fresh. The taste is not very different with the touch of grapefruit, mango and a little citrus. Has a smooth mouthfeel and bitterness is at a medium level. This is a beer where the hops and malt blend nicely together. Not exactly what one associates with a pale lager, but is fresh and balanced where hops characterizes the beer completely.

Palme (3237) - Bergen, NORWAY - SEP 2, 2013
0.33l bottle from 2D2Spuma, Barcelona. This is a crystal clear dark golden one with a nice medium sized heavy lacing off-white lasting head. The aroma is really fruity and hoppy. Average+ on the carbonation and it has a mildly oily mouthfeel. I get tons of peachy sweetness, marmalade and citrus. Really fresh and Americanized nose. Like it lot! Much the same in the flavor here. It’s really fruity and fresh tasting. Peaches and tropical in flavor. A good, easy drinking’ fruity pale. 07.08.2012

Draught at Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen
Cloudy amber color with small creamy head. The aroma is quite fruity, fresh, with stone fruits and a touch of tropical fruits; also a bit dusty. Malt flavor, and strong hopping, quite fruity, not as fresh as it could be, and with some hop resins; medium dry mouthfeel.
Very good hop beer, with two thirds of hop quality (but a bit too heavy on the light caramel).

Draught. Slightly hazy, deep golden colour with a small, creamy white head. Fruity aroma with pines, grasses, citrus, peach and hay. Taste is bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Long lasting bitter, dry finish with a hoppy fruitiness. World class lager!

Tap at London Craft Beer Festival 2013. Pours a fairly clear gold/amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma is light, fresh, grassy, piney with a bit of veg. Fairly light bodied with mild carbonation, nicely foamy in the mouth. Caramel, a bit of funky veg and some grapefruit. Nice balance. Tasty.

UPDATED: FEB 23, 2014 13.08.2013, 0,33l bottle @ home:
Nice creamy longlasting head. Aroma is wet leafs, grass, hops, pine needles, bark, citrus peel, light malts, yeast. Taste is grass, lots of hops, wet leafs, newly cut lawn, soil, bark, pine needles. Longlasting bitterness. Fair enough, but don’t really take this for beeing a lager beer.
