"Sometimes when you’re drunk you can see better."

This is the lager. This is the pilsner, the lager, the bottom fermented beer. This is the Captain on the deck, one of the lone lagers cruising on the ocean of ale. To Øl actually loves lager type beers, and sometimes lagers is missed out because of the many great ales present. Problem is that most people who brew lagers apparently has a taste of old dusty piss yellow obnoxious stale impotent beers. So now was the time to stir things up and tell the people how you can do a super hoppy, well balanced pilsner type beer!

33 cl, bottled. Pours cloudy orange with awesome white head, love the bubbles. Aroma: Canned fruits, peach. Pleasant fruity aroma. Taste: Medium+ sweet, fruits, peach, exotic canned fruits. Pleasant bitterness, very notable. Palate: Medium body, bitter aftertaste. Lots of hop characters. Very refreshing. Excellent general pilsner as commercially. I like how it shows some love towards lagers, one of the very first excellent lagers me to find. (from notes, previous score 7-3-7-3-13, 28.6.2012)

Bottled. Clear pale amber color. Somewhat lacy head. Hop aromas dominate: lemon, mango and dried apricot. Floral notes too. Malty, slightly sweet bread and oat flavor with dryish finish. Medium strong, graperfuity and a bit soapy hop flavor in the finish with slighly mineral bite. Some malty flavor in there as well. Quite nice balance. Medium body, quite velvety mothfeel regardless of slightly fizzy carbonation.

Pours clear golden color, with foamy white head. Aroma without note of an alcohol. Just with frzity notes of hops. Flavor is mild sweet, slightly bitter, with strong note of fruity esters. Malt sweetness is mild medium, hop bitterness is high, finish is dry bitter, body is sticky, carbonation low. G

33ml bottle from work. One of To Ol’s finest offerings. Supposed to be a pilsner but more like a crisp fruity pale ale. Grapefruit/apricots. Dry. Really nice fluffy white head. Nice golden orange colour. Mmmmm. I definitely prefer this to their "Pop", which is another ’make believe’ lager from To Ol. I could easily drink a six pack.

Für ein Lager eine wunderbare Erfahrung. Frisch und hopfig mit einer leichten Zitrusnote. Würzig, belebend, ausgewogen. Wunderbar.

Bottle from Rudat in Dortmund. The beer has got a clear deep golden colour with a small head and medium body. Aroma of hops, bread, citrus and malt. Taste of hops, bread, citrus fruits, malt and straw. Smooth and hoppy finish. Nice one, yet nothing special.
