"Sometimes when you’re drunk you can see better."

This is the lager. This is the pilsner, the lager, the bottom fermented beer. This is the Captain on the deck, one of the lone lagers cruising on the ocean of ale. To Ĝl actually loves lager type beers, and sometimes lagers is missed out because of the many great ales present. Problem is that most people who brew lagers apparently has a taste of old dusty piss yellow obnoxious stale impotent beers. So now was the time to stir things up and tell the people how you can do a super hoppy, well balanced pilsner type beer!

The best lager I have ever had! (bottle at the Anderson, cheers Jim!) Very light, straw coloured pilsner. Nose is lychee, lime, great hop character, the Nelson and Citra really shine through. Light body carries the hops very well and the low bitterness lets their flavours really shine through. Had with delicious Thai-style bream and the combo was to die for! Get some, drink it, enjoy it!

Clear golden with big white head. Hop resin, citrus and cereal. Dry, clean, crisp and hoppy finish. Great!

Pours a massive, creamy white top. Strong fruity aroma. Top is staying with you, it does not diminish quickly. Taste is strong upfront, very bitter. No body, which is expected for a lager, then a very hard and strong bitter finish and aftertaste.

Naranja con capa de espuma de medio dedo que no se disipa. Carbonatación media tirando a baja.

13-07-2016, Delft Flink Gegist To Ol, duidelijke connectie met Mikkeller qua stijl etiket. Raid bier zou een pils moeten zijn maar het neigt veel meer naar een IPA. Ruikt enorm naar citrus. Frisse bittere smaak. Lekkere pils met een IPA twist. Niet heel bijzonder.

Bottled, 330ml from Beer Hawk, Harrogate, N.Yorks, many thanks to Derek & Kelsey for this. Burnished gold with white head. This is a lager quite unlike any other, perhaps there should be an Indian Premium Lager category as this would travel the world well with this amount of hopping. Hops to the fore, hops to the centre and hops to the rear, grassy, tropical fruity and citrus. Plenty of bitterness all on a light malt body. Bottom fermented, it would appear so. Excellent beer.

from la Mise en Bière - quite clear amber-orange beer, little beige foam left; some biscuity maltiness and a fair hop presence of ripe fruits and pine; solidly tasty, clean, rounded and crisp; very bitter and long fruity and grassy hoppy finish

A bottle some months ago in the Ale House, Chelmsford. Poured a hazy amber/gold colour with an average sized just off-white head. Aroma of citrus, hop, pine, biscuit, caramel and bread. Medium sweetness and bitterness, quite dry. Towards medium bodied, average carbonation. Pretty decent and not what’s typically billed as ’premium lager’.
