Amber color with a lot of orange aromas. Its very tingling and filled with tasty fruit. Thats the way all pilsners should be.

Aroma is amazing it’s like multivitamin juice, passion fruit and mega citrus :) the color is old gold and the head is a bit brownish I really like it. The taste is refreshing citrus taste with a passion fruit tang and deep bitter hops taste, excellent balance. This beer is our of this world, it’s a different type of Lager.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 turtlebirra (13) - SPAIN - JAN 3, 2013
Super fresh, it pours dark orange with a medium creamy head that brings all the aromas to the nose.
It smells citrusy and frutiy, the taste is well balanced with the malts and the huge amount of hops which make it zeasty on palate, then the lager carbonic appears and gives the beer a refreshing bitter ending that is great!
I want more!

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Don’t smell like no lager. Super Nelson Sauvin nose, or something. In any case it smells tropically hoppy. Beautiful fruity flavour. Very fizzy and hence crunchy. This is excellent. It tastes as lagery as that other Danish Premium Lager I tried this week, Mikkeller The American, as in not lagery at all. Delish.

330ml bottle. Streaming bronze heaped with white. Mad, humming blackcurrant and tropical Starburst, lychees in syrup, G+T aroma with maybe a little peach poking through. Crisp, drying, juicy with a botanical, junipery hit; honeyed peach, beautiful fresh lychee, blackcurrant and passion fruit notes. Utterly drenched in hop, balance and drinkability. Fucking beautiful.
4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 mjakopa (106) - Maribor, SLOVENIA - AUG 9, 2012
One of my favorites. A strong fruity/exotic smell of pineapple and peach, with a strong taste that nicely complements it. One of the best lagers out there. Really, just so full of excellent taste.

Bottle courtesy of sebletitje, thanks Sebastian! The 33cl bottle pours into my Tilquin Gueuze glass with a clear copper body and thin gold edges and supports a thin dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers up a nice boquet of malt sweetend floral hops, citrus tangerine like hops and a touch of mango. It seems rather Simcoe like. Nicely hopped up fresh brew. Diggin’ this already. The taste is just as crisp and fresh and hoppy as the aroma hinted at. I get grapefruit and tangelo and a bit of bitter floral hops and a touch of onion dank hoppiness around the edges. The mild sweet malts create small islands of malt sweetened citrus hop flavor here and there. This is light crisp bold and refreshing. I wish I could get this on a regular basis in the summer. Terrific brew.
