English: The day after your tour de force in the world of alcohol, where good manners has been thrown over the shoulder, the liver has been punished and the dance floor hasn’t looked better since John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever, ones physical and mental state needs to get in gear for another week of tedious paperwork. You need something to cleance your tastebuds from the taste of the cheap slave tequila. You need something to recover you safely and give you a renewed love and zest for life. In simple terms, you need a really good recovery beer (in danish "Reparationsbajer"). The problem is that there are few perfect recovery beers! Nauseous mass produced lagers are the last thing you want to think about after you have been making a few calls in the great white telephone. This is why To Øl for a long time has had the goal to develop a recipe for the perfect recovery beer. This has resulted in a lot of tough empirical field work combined with a great amount of brewing. After a years of hard work all results have been gathered and the conclusion is clear: The best way to remove your hang overs is with a potent Pale Ale with powerful and aromatic American and New Zealand hops to give your tastebuds a cold turkey combined with a nice round, pleasant and well-balanced malt profile to massage the palate and reinforce the belief that one shall survive another day! And that’s why we present for you To Øl Reparationsbajer.

Bottle. Aroma of citrusy hops, tropical fruit, orange. Taste is dry and slightly bitter, floral, grass, a bit of malt. Long bitter hoppy aftertaste that lingers on a while. A bit unbalanced in the use of hops and not very complex. Decent, but I don´t think i would buy this one again.

One of the best APA’s I’ve ever had. The intensity of hops and flavours is almost like in IPA. Fresh, citrusy (grapefruits), bitter, dry, a little sweet. Long pleasant bitter finish. This is what I’m looking for in a good beer. Everything perfectly ballanced. To Ol becomes my favorite brewery. Top quality stuff!

On Tap at Chmielarnia in Warsaw. Thick white head. Huge, fruity aroma kick: grapefruit, orange and some citron notes. Taste is piny with fruity sourness. Rather dry one but also some carmel notes in aftertaste. Perfectly balanced and drinkable - decent APA.

Keg at Draft House. Hazy bright orange, very big foamy off-white head leaves some sparse lacing. Aroma - dank fruity-yet-cheesy hops, gone-off orange, armpit. Body is light, lowish carbonation. Taste - light citrus, watery squash, soft bitterness. Just a bit underflavoured for my liking.

Tap at Drafthouse, Clapham. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma has a light veg, with meat, smoke and a hint of flora/perfume. Medium body, mild carbonation. Smoke, meat, herbs, light caramel, a little veg, hint if trop fruit, wood. Nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Probably best pale ale I’ve had. Lots of tropical fruit, passionfruit, grape, some mango. light malt base, straight hoop forward and very refreshing. Nothing more to ask for in a pale ale, simple, butt lots of flavor and hop bursting, balanced bitterness.
