3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
330ml bottle. Hazy amber colour, very foamy off-white head leaving some lacing and aroma of malt & fruity citrus hop. Taste is biscuity malt balanced against some grapefruit hop bitterness and pine notes. Creamy mouth feel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry earthy lingering bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
0.33l bottle. Been hearing so much good things about this for such a long time now, so looking forward to trying it for myself. Can’t say anything on the looks. It has a big nice off-white head with great retention and a pretty close to clear deep amber colored body. Lots if freshness, fruitiness and sweetness on the nose. Really invitingly hoppy without it being to much. Peach, mango and a little bit of tropical pineapple. Smells really good! Nice oily on the mouthfeel and the carbonation level is just below average. Deliciously moreish in the taste. Hoppy yet really balanced with a strong maltiness. A bit like drinking candy. The hype is solid in this one. Will definitely be having this again! 17.08.2013

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
It’s not this kind of recovery To Øl had in mind when brewing this beer, but after having spent a week in hospital with a punctured lounge, a broken collarbone, several fractures in the shoulderblade and 11 broken ribs, I couldn’t find another more fitting beer, cheers to recovery! I’m not trying to evoke sympathy from my fellow raters by telling this, it’s more of a reminder that this review might be even less trustworthy than usual: I have after all substantial amounts of morphine and other pain killers in my system, and I therefore assume that my sensory apparatus is rather screwed up. With a little trouble I manage to open the bottle, and in my glass I pour a rather dark orange, hazy liquid. The head is quite large, creamy, egg-white and reduces to a fully lasting layer that leaves lots of lacing. The aroma is lovely, strong and sweet with tropical notes, first of all mango. There’s also a certain spiciness in the back. The spices are there in the flavours and on the palate as well, and give the beer a sharp, crisp and spicy mouthfeel. In addition I get fruits, citrus and resin. The taste is light sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Quite dry with a moderate carbonation. A drinkable and refreshing beer!
