COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Heaven knows no frontiers, and I’ve seen heaven in your eyes"

This is how the Frontier beer series lost their ground, missed direction and finally found themselves again. This beer has no frontiers, meaning that it can now pick and choose among brewing specialties. Instead of being an IPA, this is a rather a Belgian ale, hopped and dryhopped with continental european hops and refermented with brettanomyces. A tart, picturesque and rural beer.

Ingredients: Water, barley malt, hops, Rock Candy, yeast and brettanomyces.

Bottle (750 ml). From SlovakSniper, thanks! Clear golden/orange with a medium beige head, moderate retention and some lacing. Aroma is of caramel, malt, Belgian yeast, light brettanomyces and floral notes. Taste is moderately sweet with malt/caramel, yeast, light fruits, light brettanomyces, some spices, floral and herbal notes. Light to medium body. Fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. A tad too malt, but still drinkable and quenching.

Spicy on the nose, cinnamon. You get a touch of bret straight away, still a little spicy as well, nice enough.

Pours a slightly hazy golden brown from the bottle with dissipating off-white head that leaves good lace. Aroma is sweet caramel malt with a hint of Belgian yeast. Taste follows, sweet and malty, expect it to be boozy, but easy to drink. Good stuff.

Bottle, Brew Dog Shop. Poured slightly hazy amber with a middling off-white head. Nose was sweet malts, citrus, yeast and brett.Flavour was pretty similar with some fragrant hop lurking. Quite lively carbonation. Dried out towards the finish. Decent, but I wasn’t totally bowled over.
